What bleem!casts do you own?

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

What bleem!casts do you own?

Post by Barnolde »

Wow. I haven't been here for like ever. I was talking to dude322mg about bleem! and just felt like popping back in. I've been too busy with school, playing Headhunter, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Halo ;).

Anyway, I own all 3, I bought them at my EB. I don't like the Tekken 3 game, but I have it anyway.

I got all three of them from EB. We've still got a couple of all three packs at the EB where I work.

the man who made bleemcast!

btw. the tekken 3 disc sucks because of the lame button-mapping.
No sidestep or shoulder buttons!

I don't even think it's possible to complete "Force mode" w/o the sidestep buttons.

Is there maybe a patch or something?

sadly wasted money

I was totally into bleem!Cast, but the price was very high. This I'm saying for the Canadian point of View. The MGS pack (the most expensive one) is $17.40 or so with tax included in that. Then you have to get MGS, which is about $20 ($23 with tax) used, and a VMU dedicated to the game, so that would be $20 ($23 with tax) for the lcd one, or $15 for a regular used one with no lcd screen. In total it costs me $57.80 Canadian to play a old game. Heck I sold my PSX for only $55 with 2 controllers (One analog) and a few games.
Another great and interesting post brought to you by the DoughBoy!

P.S. I'm looking for A Turbo Express, PM me if you got one.

However.......... if u happen to live in the US and it only costs you $8, and you have extra VMU's and already have MGS, then this is a good buy, I'm just saying for someone who doesn't have it, it gets pricey.

yup, that's why!
The shoulder buttons (L & R) are mapped as select.
You could alwas sacrifice two fighting buttons (lk,hk,lp,hp) but it doesn't sound very bright to me...

And I can save on my third party "no screen" VMU.

mr. darkness is telling the truth: force mode is hard witthout sidestepping and combo mapping on the shoulder buttons. I haven't played it in a while, but I remember being able to map the shoulder buttons as either sidesteppers, or combos, but not both (not enough buttons). I was using a psx controller if that helps..?

I own all 3 bleemcasts. 8)

You don't need to map any buttons to make a sidestep. I don't use this buttons. To sidestep you need only to tap slightly "up" or "down", just like in arcade version. It's really useful, try it!!!
