Re: What is the name of this thing ?

That's weird. I could have sworn Lynch was involved with Kalifornia. I guess I was wrong.

Regardless, I don't like David Lynch. Never have. It's possible that someday I will, but I don't see it happening anytime soon.

Ugh. I can't stand David Lynch. I didn't even like Kalifornia, and it had Brad Pitt.

Why do the topics in which I post keep ending up in null? I don't post in null. You're making a mockery of my good name.

Yes, but only ones that let you watch other TV shows on a different network.
However, the TV Shows that Rand is creating will take a standard definition television show and upscale it to high-def for you. That's not something you'll find on the other networks.

Congrats, Crab! Even more impressive than graduating is the fact that you did it in four years. I didn't think anyone did that anymore.

Don't know how much use it will be, but here's what I wrote from my layman's perspective after I did a lot of research and bought a new TV.

Re: Partitioning a New Laptop

I ended up getting gparted 0.5.4-2 to work properly. For some reason, I had to pop the CD in the drive just before the BIOS tried to read it. I had to disable "Run fan whenever running on AC power" or whatever it is within the BIOS (I have a Targus chillmat, so hopefully that will help kee...

Re: Burning Dreamcast .CDI files with a Mac..

I don't have a Mac (nor have I ever), so I can't test this. However, it looks like there is a program you can use to extract the files and burn them with Toast: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/15633/cdime If you get anything working, please let me know. I'd be glad to post an updated guide for ...

Re: Partitioning a New Laptop

Thank you for the detailed response, BA. I think, with the information you've provided and the information I was able to get from the OpenSUSE forums, I'm going to do the following: 1) Main Vista partition (around 50 gigs - NTFS) 2) Main OpenSUSE partition (around 10 gigs - reiserfs) 3) /home/ parti...

Partitioning a New Laptop

Greetings, guys! I just got a new HP laptop today. I'm planning to partition the hard drive to make it possible to install OpenSUSE on it next week. I would like to know, before I even turn the machine on for the first time, what the recommended practice for partitioning the drive is. Should I go ah...

Re: iPhone 3.0 beta questions

Nope, though MMS does let you receive video. Good to know. It's amazing to me how many simple functions are crippled on the iPhone. For the most part, it's an amazing device, but there are so many basic actions completely unavailable on the phone. When you say that the 3.0 software supports A2DP, d...

Thanks for the answers, |darc|. I'm guessing iPhone 3.0 didn't implement the ability to capture video, either, did it.

Re: iPhone 3.0 beta questions

For those of you using iPhone 3.0 beta, how are the new copy/paste functions (or have they even been implemented, yet)?

Also - I'm guessing there's no way to save e-mail attachments, yet, right?
