ScummVM DC compiling and build request

Would someone who can compile stuff in Linux be willing to compile the newest version of ScummVM for the DC from the CVS tree? I, and a lot of other people are unable to since we are in Windows, so we can't try the newest version. Also, it would be really nice if every time the code on the CVS tree ...

No, the only way at the moment would be for someone to rip the Betas/demos and release them(This would be warez and there are none released at the moment anyways) or to obtain a copy from a video games magazine writer. Maybe in a couple of years you will be able to buy some of EBay. There were a cou...

I haven't played PSO in a while, but the last time I did I almost got screwed over by PK's, luckily I had those Doll's or some item that makes you return to life and I was able to get away. The problem with that game is like Jebba said, It gets Boring! I haven't played in a while though so it would p...

I am not sure, but I think NanDub can do this, however last time I tried this it made the audio out of sync with the video. I would reccomend converting the audio to a .wav and using VirtualDub to mix it with the video source. Just have the video be a direct stream copy and then use full compression...

Keep in mind that when encoding with Divx 5.0 or 5.01 that your height should be a multiple of 2 and your width should be a multiple of 4. So when choosing a resolution and 320x175 would be the correct aspect ratio just round up 1 or down 1 pixel on the height. I made the mistake of doing this and g...

I have found that GQ(Great Quality) CD-R's work fine for everything that I burn. They are only 7.00 for a pack of 50 at Fry's Electronics. Haven't had one disc related error when using them.

Souds like a good idea and I'm sure we would get some creative entries. Unfortunately I do not a prize or anything to offer to the winner. Maybe if someone else is interested they will be willing to offer a prize. Even if there is no prize ift would be cool to have a contest of some sort. Post your ...

The best VGA box in my opinion is the Performance VGA Adapter. It is one of the Few adapters that includes a pass throught port so you can still have your PC connected to your monitor and also have your Dreamcast connected too, and comes with all the cables to do so. It also has S-Video/RCA A/V outp...

Every Homebrew Emulator/Game should work with the VGA Box if you Self Boot it. Using the Utopia Boot CD won't work wit hthe VGA box. Also a few Comercial games will not work with it, but that is probably only 10 or so.

I have been interested in doing this too, but unfortunately you would need to use a ripped copy of Quake 3 DC to do so. Just be happy with the included maps for now. Maybe in the future when DC products aren't sold as widely this topic will be more open to disscussion.

Keis, this is currently an issue that willl be solved soon. Betaboy over at http://www.dcdivx.com said he will try to make some images that are compatible with HP Burners soon. Just check his site or more info. You could always just selfboot the thing manually so the Data sesion is larger. Maybe DCE...

Unfortunately it won't. :( The information for the dreamcast to read CD-R's is in the Dreamcast's BIOS. Upon booting up the dreamcast will check to see if the media is a CD-R or a GD-Rom. IF it is a CD it wil read the disc from the inside out, and if it is a GD-Rom it will read from the outside in. ...
