I think half the problem is that while we're busy playing Super Mario on our SNES emus, Nintendo are losing sales on the new stuff. Nah, that's crap. To be honest, I've never understood why companies like Nintendo cry & whine about the use of NES or SNES ROMs, for christ sake when was the last N...

Heh and that's all the thanks Atani gets for his hard work, it's no wonder he stopped working on it. Seriously, that version of DCGen was a very early beta and if Atani had continued work on it, it would have been much better by now. Also, I don't think Atani claimed that it would run at 60fps, I'm ...

?35 is not bad really considering I used to work for Commodore repairing C64s and Amigas which cost a standard fee of ?45 to repair and that was like 10 years ago!

I just checked and the version I'm using is a beta which is over a year old! I'm downloading the latest version now, hopefully I can decode my Div-X movies properly and convert them to MPEG1 for use with GypPlay. I'll let you know how I get on.

Yea, I already have SMEG and was pretty impressed with it but u cannot beat the original arcade versions

As for Shenmue, those arcade games rocked but it's a bit of pain having to go all that way to play them. Unless u know another way of accessing them.

Yes, it does work. I converted a handful of .asf music videos to MPEG1 and they work fine, although the source sound was shite.

Yea there was a thread going on over at Boob which had been running for quite a while. It was shut down because a couple of people started getting a bit shirty. A few people claimed to have got other games working with Bleem!Cast & others have tried various methods with not much luck. Apparently...

System 16?

I was just wondering if any of you guys knew if a System 16 emulator would be possible and if so whether it would be likely for one to appear on our beloved DC. I was sat here listening to a remix of the Space Harrier theme tune and just thought how cool it would be to be able to play the likes of O...

fatheadpi: I've been trying to convert some Div-X files using TMPGEnc but not having much look coz it won't decode the audio from the Div-X source. Have u had any luck with doing this & if so what settings did u use?

Yea, I've been so busy with other stuff lately but I will get round to encoding some files at different rates to see what happnes. It would be great to be able to play Div-X movies at a good speed i.e. 25fps but I can't see it happening. But still worth a try

S*olidsnake: You can burn Dix-X onto a CD and play it on a DC if there was a good enough player available. But Div-X will not play on a normal VCD player (such as a DVD player or CD-i, etc. with MPEG-1 card).

Well the plan is to find the best quality possible that will run on GypPlay. It is possible to use standard MPEG files, but we are gonna play around with the encoding techniques a bit to see if it makes a difference.

I have quite a strange problem. I bought an original copy of Tomb Raider: Last Revelation for my girlfriend and it will only work when my DC is cold. I use a lot of backups and emulators, etc. that are on CD-Rs, but never had a problem with any of them. If my DC is warm Tomb Raider will not work, pr...

Hmmm, seems to me that many people have problems with Nero. Personally, I use Lilmucker's Self-Boot kit & DiscJuggler and it works everytime, never had a problem.

There is a program included in the package that converts DJ images to Nero's format.

I haven't had time to do a test disc yet, but when I do I'll post the results here.

I do have a Sega Saturn. Where can I find the VCD player for that?
