I just checked and the version I'm using is a beta which is over a year old! I'm downloading the latest version now, hopefully I can decode my Div-X movies properly and convert them to MPEG1 for use with GypPlay. I'll let you know how I get on.

Yea, I've been so busy with other stuff lately but I will get round to encoding some files at different rates to see what happnes. It would be great to be able to play Div-X movies at a good speed i.e. 25fps but I can't see it happening. But still worth a try

S*olidsnake: You can burn Dix-X onto a CD and play it on a DC if there was a good enough player available. But Div-X will not play on a normal VCD player (such as a DVD player or CD-i, etc. with MPEG-1 card).

Well the plan is to find the best quality possible that will run on GypPlay. It is possible to use standard MPEG files, but we are gonna play around with the encoding techniques a bit to see if it makes a difference.

Hmmm, seems to me that many people have problems with Nero. Personally, I use Lilmucker's Self-Boot kit & DiscJuggler and it works everytime, never had a problem.

I've been using Lilmuckers Selfboot Toolkit v: 0.1.3 - DISC JUGGLER EDITION to burn my DC discs & haven't had any problems yet.
