Re: Thinking of getting rid of my older 16-bit games
melancholy are you still around?? I know I'm not up there in the echelon, do you still have Chrono Trigger? Believe it or not. This hook and reel is too real with Square Enix these days. Its a reassurance Were you the one that sold it to me? Yes, I still have it to this day. In fact, I have every g...

I collect PVC statues of Rei in a wide variety of suggestive positions and in various states of undress. But every statue covers her nipples, so to answer your question, yes you sick fuck I hope you die in prison.

Re: Classic consoles
Why not do something more interesting? Add wi-fi, some extra storage, and PSN connectivity to download more PS1 games and possibly allow for netplay. Ship it with leftover DualShock 3s. Amusingly they did have something like that in the PSTV. What they should have done is just recalled all of those...

Re: The new Sonic is here
The big thing that bothers me is that Sega knows they have a terrible track record for their quality of Sonic reboots, yet decided that this would be a good idea. The animation company even said in interviews that the heads of Sega hated the look but green lit it anyway. Why?

Re: Nintendo Switch
Considering my Wii U was pretty much the most played console in my house, the Switch is going to eventually be awesome. But right now I barely play it since the only game I have is I Am Setsuna (the Splatoon test fire was good, though). There's just nothing out right now that makes it worth picking ...

Dragon Quest Builders My son and I are hooked on this. It's third person Minecraft, with cute Dragon Quest everything, plus a story, quests, npcs, base building and light tower defence. It's a really good sandbox as you can happily go off and do your own thing, but the game's cast will always keep ...

Re: Sonic Utopia, a free-roaming 3D sonic experiment
Wait, I'm confused. Is this the same guy that made Green Hill Paradise: Act 2? Or did two entirely different people make two extremely similar fangames back-to-back? Because I played the hell out of the Green Hill Paradise demo, but this game looks like a pretty major step backwards from that.

Re: Nintendo Switch
The Switch is what I wish the Wii U was. It's literally the best designed system Nintendo has come up with, and I will throw down any amount of money Nintendo charges for it. While the Wii U is easily the most played console in my house, I hated the Gamepad simply because it was a forced gimmick tha...

Re: SEGA handed Taxman the reins to a new Sonic game
The other thing to consider with the GBA is the original didn't have a backlight, so devs had to make brighter versions of all their SNES ports. Which is why that image of Mario World looks terribly washed out. As this is an emulation site it's worth noting that there's color restoration patches fo...

Has Sega even made their own Sonic game in a while? The last 2 or 3 have been third party developers.

Sticker Star wasn't just the worst Paper Mario game, it was possibly the worst RPG I've ever played. The mechanics of that game were absolute trash.DaMadFiddler wrote:Sticker Star just felt like more of the same

Re: Games Games Games
I already got Metal Gear Solid V that I have been forcing myself to play. That game is cool but really repetitive. I also bought Mario Maker, which keeps stealing my time for other games. And I just got Yoshi Woolly World with all 3 yarn Amiibos, which I'm sure would be good if I could stop playing ...

Yeah, if he's unhappy, you'll just have to suck it up and do the refund. It sucks, but the negative feedback and the loss of a $6 game is worse than the $2 you are going to lose on return shipping.

Re: Post everytime that you buy a new game...
I bought GTA V for PC. I've now owned every single graphical generation of this game (360, PS4 and now PC). On the plus side I only had to pay for it once because the trade-in credit of each purchase paid for the preorder of the next version up. Bad thing is now I have to watch the first 5 hours of ...

Re: Post everytime that you buy a new game...
Why are you buying video games when you have all those children to look after? The more serious question is why do I buy new games when I end up just playing old games anyway. I bought Type 0 and Assassin's Creed Unity in the last few weeks, yet they are just sitting there as I play Final Fantasy V...

Re: Post everytime that you buy a new game...
Final Fantasy Type 0 (PS4) - this game does not belong on the PS4 at all. It's a HD remake, but only partially, as there are ugly textures and low poly objects everywhere. It's a PSP game that should have just been ported to the Vita instead. Or the PS3 at a $40 price. I have yet to see anything in ...

We just found out our second is going to be a girl. My wife is happy, but all I can think about is all the money we will have to spend.
