My number 1 complaint is that the damn VMUs are too small. Come on, 128k (100k useable)? That's bullshit and clearly an attempt on Sega's part to make extra money by selling multiple VMUs to every DC owner. And it wouldn't be so bad if it were at least *POSSIBLE* to have larger memory cards, so that...

Yeah, it really really *REALLY* sucks that the Dreamstudio page got taken down, there was so much more that I wanted to try out from there. It's a huge loss. Anyway, I have about 200 games backed up on my HD. I can toss them into a ZIP and upload them to my webspace for you, but not right now since ...

Taxi 2 is obviously rare in the rest of the world, but it seems to be pretty common in France. A couple rarish ones nobody's mentioned yet (that I've seen anyway): Street Fighter 3: Thrid Strike was really late release that kinda got pushed under the rug by more flashy 2D fighers Capcom vs SNK or Ma...

Those pics are stuff that was found unused in the Shenmue II data packs. By hacking around, people were able to replace old textures and models with this new stuff and therefore check it out in-game. There's been a lot of unused characters and locations found that way. There used to be quite a lot o...

Shenmue II is probably the tops. Yeah, it slows down and people pop in and and out occassionally, but that's only because the game is doing so damn much all the time. It's very impressive. The Guilin disc is just excellent. Ecco, too, as Lunchbox said. Absolutely beautiful. Too bad it's not a better...

No one mentions Feet of Fury's Typing of Fury mode? Anyway, Soul Calibur doesn't support the mic or maracas or anything else since those all ccame out after the game. It supported every peripheral that had been released up until then, though. As someone else mentioned, the lightgun support isn't any...

Assuming you don't have a dial-up ISP (in which case you could just e-mail the games to yourself as attachments and then retrieve the e-mails on your Dreamcast), I'd advise getting a Nexus 4X memory card with the parallel cable or a Double Power. Either of those should be available from all the usua...

Re: I Just Order DreamCast VCD/MP3 Player
I just order a DreamCast VCD/MP3 Player for my Dreamcast which comes with a vcd remote control and it said it has very good playback. I'll let you know how good is the player when i get it posted to my house. Here is a picture of it. http://www.consolesandgadgets.co.uk/catalog/images/dc-mp3vcd.jpg ...

The part that's in Japanese is mostly the environment creation portion, that's where you have to go through lists and change all sorts of settings to get things looking right. Even in Japanese, it's very easy to do all of this. The hard part is the event scripting section where you actually give you...

The Saturn can do it as well, and so can the Jaguar, actually (in fact, you can daisy chain up to like 16 or 32 Jaguars together instead of just a two-system link like on all the other systems). But nah, it's not a feature that really took off on any of the systems that support it. It's a cool idea,...

Just copy the 1ST_READ.BIN file from the CD you already burned (you don't need to use CD Mage or anything like that, just standard copy-and-paste). Then, as az said, just put that file, an IP.BIN and the folders containing the games into a folder together and run something like Selfboot or Dir2Boot ...

Well, I certainy wouldn't discourage you from it if that's what you want to do, but I'm personally very happy with DreamZZT as it is. Though, I suppose I don't have much to compare it to, since I've never used ZZT on my PC, but the handful of games I've tried all worked perfectly under DreamZZT. IF ...

Lookee my massive Neo Geo Pocket FAQ: http://www.rattlebrain.com/~opaopa/pokefaq.html There's a few games that use the NGPC-DC link, but none of the linking features is really very cool, so I wouldn't advise going out of your way to try it out. Only now with the Gamecube and GBA is the concept of li...

Man, I so wish F355 allowed you to link up for one player replicating the arcade. There wouldn't be any way to link three systems, only two, but even that would be well cool. Unfortunately, it's just for multiplayer, not that that's a bad thing exactly. Also, the Neo Geo POcket link cable is a total...

April may be gone, but the fools remain! I think it's hilarious, personally. I didn't even hae to see the release date to realize it was a joke. Actually, I haven't ever tried burning it, what exactly is it? Does it actually act like an emulator up to a point or something or does it just throw up a ...

Shytsa! I didn't even think of that. I try to keep people there from getting too Rom-y, but I'm just one man, what can I do? (Actually, I'm not alone, it's funny, half the time when someone asks for a ROM, he'll get pounded, but the other half people will help him out, I never know what's gonna happ...
