And also if there isn't, i have 2 spare PSX controllers, is there any way i can splice some wires together to make a PSX controller work on my DC? Not exactly, look for the thread on using NES controllers on DC. Depending on how you damaged the board (where it broke), you might be able to do someth...

Get the Disc Juggler image from here (dcemulation.org), and CDI To Nero 09b3 DAO from the needed tools section.

Unzip the disc juggler image and converter, run the converter over the DJ image, burn with Nero.

I finally burned Dc Linux this way yesterday.

No soldering? What do you do exactly? I'm not sure if I understand... He meant for his arcade hack, all he needs is a barrier strip to complete his hack. If you're going the NES pad hack with this controller, you won't need to solder directly to the DC controller. Maybe I'll post more later, need t...

Very interesting and usefull. It has a full diagram of the DC's modem connector, I don't think any of the previous had a diagram of the connector, only the pinouts.

Still waiting on getting another DC before I attempt anything.

By the way, does the NE2000 work like a LAN or a BBA? That would be amazing.
Neither, its usefull only under NetBSD, or possibly DC Linux.

The driver for it is in Pack 6, but like too much of MameD-DC, it doesn't work. :( Closest thing right now is the Dreamcast game 'Mortal Kombat Gold' by Midway. You should be able to find it cheap. If MK2 was truely your favorite game ever, you'd buy the real board and build a supergun or buy a cab ...

If the television supports SVideo input, there might be a way... AFAIK, Svideo works by splitting the color channels into: Red <> Green <> Blue <> Alpha That might be a start. Where'd you hear this? Last time I checked video was split into Y (Luma) and C (chroma) for S-Video. Hmm... this is the sec...

Reality Factory also has many cutting edge special effects, such as dynamic colored lighting, advanced particle effects (rain, sprays (useful for ricochets and blood-type effects) and other similar effects). You can pretty much forget about those features unless DC 3D libraries make quite a leap. I...

The two-way transfer (and high data rate) is for the VMU slots, right? If you didn't worry about the VMU (or disabled / nullified it with a loop routine), couldn't you possibly get the thing to work?If the actual controller needs the 1.2 Mbps, then might it be possible to slow down its clock to wor...

Linux distro just for DC deving?

Could someone please make a Linux distro just for DC deving with all the cross-compilers and libraries setup already? Even better yet, make it to where it boots from CD (mounting Windows partitions for saving of course). This would help people like me who want to dev, but don't want to spend the tim...

My old answer: Not feasible, the DC controller is very advanced and runs at an incredible 1.2Mbps, and has two way communication with the console.

New answer: I'm currently investigating something that may lead to an adapter. (not likely to yield results, which is why I'm not releasing details)

Not feasible, PC mouse signals have to be converted to DC mouse signals, not a simple task. To build a converter would require expensive chips, an expensive programmer, and lots of time. Many newbies have proposed that it should be as easy as rewireing the connector, but they were mistaken. I've ope...
