Re: Want to say Hello
It is progressive though the vga. The issue is my cheap monitor is trying to scale the 480 to 1080. It's not so much the composite to HDMI I care about, that just happens to be the output of the external upscaler I purchased which should, and has for many people, provided a much sharper image. I'm n...

Re: Want to say Hello
Well I was able to get it up and running here at home with just the vga cable but it looks like trash. I ended up ordering an external composite to hdmi upscaler which according to some internet reading creates quite a better image. Thankfully it wasn't too expensive, all I want to get rid of is som...

Re: New Problem, GC on Wii
New cards came quick. Got home a few hours ago and they were waiting in the mailbox. Just restored them with the other card PSO files, set up new network settings fresh, both work without a hitch. Fantastic!

Re: New Problem, GC on Wii
The only thing I copied was the networking file. Thankfully I backed up everything straight away once I got the Wii "hacked." I've only played the new characters since then on the "good" card so with that problem free I'm not too worried. I didn't really have plans to play online...

Re: New Problem, GC on Wii
Yes, they were both separate files from quite a few years ago, as in when the game came out. Once I got back to my old hardware a couple days ago, I set up the network for one of the cards. Worked no problem, still works no problem. Then yesterday I tried setting up the other card which has my highe...

Re: New Problem, GC on Wii
Tried a few different things. No luck. Even tried using the settings off the good card, still didn't work. Maybe you can't use the same SN and Key for two different save files? Has anyone successfully done that?

Re: New Problem, GC on Wii
Well copying just results in what's considered a corrupt network file. For some reason I get to the dialing screen and it mentions sending user name and password. I don't recall this ever happening with the other card. Not sure why it's different. Mentions not being able to connect to server. Quite ...

New Problem, GC on Wii
Hello again, So I got things up and running well with my new characters. My higher level old characters exist on a second memory card. I can connect on the first memory card with my new characters which is the first I set up. On my second memory card with the exact same settings I can't connect to t...

Re: BSOD; lost items
Thanks, makes sense. Need to cya before something happens. Just tested out the duping last night on some worthless weapons. Kind of a pain but seems to work. Yay for the non-Plus edition! Haha. I don't know why anyone would go through that hassle outside of trying to keep from losing stuff. I can't ...

Re: BSOD; lost items
Just to ask, being I'll be playing the GC version, how exactly would you go about replacing the lost items via a dupe? If it's gone, it's gone. Personally I'm making copies of my memory cards and save files to restore if anything like this happens, but you still lose all progress made on the charact...

Re: GameCube/Wii Players
Hello everyone. Got everything up and running on the Wii today. May attempt with the GC as well at some point, but why spin a disk if I don't have to? Haha. Sadly the reset button on the GC is broken, but it does have the BBA. That's good I suppose. Anyways, Guildcard / 15796 I have a couple charact...

Re: Want to say Hello
So here are the 4 characters I plan on keeping, just because. That may change. Two are old, two are pretty much brand new as of today. I have thoughts of deleting the other 4 and maybe making 1 or 2 new ones, but so much equipment to deal with. I'd rather focus on the two new ones to start since tha...

Re: Want to say Hello
Another problem popped up prior to my sleep. Tried to connect via old Netflix app and then WiFi went all to hell. Couldn't get it working again so took a nap having only slept a couple hours in the car during the drive and having been up almost 12 hours since then. Now I need to get the dang Wii wif...

Re: Want to say Hello
Well I made it to my parents home. Found the Wii and GC. GC already has the BBA. Have 4 GC controllers. Currently working on getting PSO running with Devolution. One problem. It seems I put all my GC games in one of those mini disk holders. I can't find the case for it. Is there any way to recover t...

Re: Want to say Hello
I'll need to emulate GC on Wii for the network support. Not an issue at all since it's not "really" emulating the game, though I guess it actually is. Honestly, I may try and salvage a GC while I'm there too, just in case. If I didn't buy the BBA back in the day I'm sure I could still find...

Re: Want to say Hello
Thanks for that. I wasn't aware you could. Sadly I've had a few crashes in just the few hours I spent on it. I'd rather have the "real thing" since it should have less issue. Assuming I can't get the "legitimate" way working I may just try off the PC then.

Want to say Hello
Hello folks! So I have an itch to get back to this game. Spent many hours back in the day on the Dreamcast playing when I should have been sleeping. Oh those dial up modems... Anyways, after losing a couple characters to that weird character conversion virus thing or whatever it was I quit. When EP ...
