Re: Ship Palmacosta
I've also read a report that the final room doesn't work right; every enemy spawns in the center of the room at the same time, so all the enemies are on top of each other. I'll be pretty straight forward, you are the least qualified person to report any issues with quests, your performance o...

Re: PSO PC Windowed: Correct aspect ratio
Ip patch seems to be working, the game will only crash if you select window mode I can say that the 1st launcher on post 1 does let you resize the window, the other one with all the new stuff only let's you resize the window if you tick the "window mode" option and that causes it to crash ...

Re: PSO PC Windowed: Correct aspect ratio
I do switch servers from time to time, even if it's just to check things out, like checking the amount of players on Izakaya for example (relying on other players doesn't really work), i also sometimes use my own personal server to test quests, just like unusual treesome 9 that another person ported...

Re: PSO PC Windowed: Correct aspect ratio
So i decided to test this and it's not really working. When i tick the checkbox to make this windowed (despite already using a window mode) the launcher gives an error, i'm not sure if it's because i'm trying to use window on window mode or if it will work if i grab the fullscreen exe, but for now i...

Re: PSO PC Windowed: Correct aspect ratio
I really liked if i had a launcher that would patch the exe with the high resolution version of PSO, sadly all i have are numerous exes that i use to replace the original, also the large majority are still alpha versions and have no hud adjustements, the exe that has partial hud adjustment only has ...

Re: PSO v2 Enhancement Pack
Saffo does play with new players sometimes, depends on the player that is, finding players that play 1 version of PSO v2 isn't all that hard in the end.
Autoconnect disks and/or fast loading ones have been floating around for a very long time.

Re: PSO PC Windowed: Correct aspect ratio
I actually use window mode a lot considering i do a lot of things in the background and having to alt tab everytime would be a pain. For accuracy i guess your tool would be really nice, for me however i just change the shape of the window at my own will. Fraps actually takes a screenshot at the corr...

Re: PSO v2 Enhancement Pack
Saffo usually locks the game, only trustworthy players can join.
We don't use the command because we don't need to, everyone that gets in the game plays with the original game, there are no worries.

Re: PSO v2 Enhancement Pack
It's perfectly acceptable with the players that accept it, however if a player in a game have activated the /legit command it is likely that you will blocked from entering the game if you found items from that modification. Also keep in mind that even if you are able to get in, if some of the player...

Re: PSO History
Well, there are a few share of tools you can use to recreate the items and the level of your character, if you want to play PSO PC with the PSO dc stuff then you can always send me a PM and i'll guide you in the process, i'll give you the tools and a detailed explanation on how to do it.

Re: PSO Questions & Answers
sd drops uses the server drops to determine what drops, usually they are the default sega ones with the default drop rates, but they might be tweaked directly to include drops for events for example. No sd drops means the drops are the ones on the host disk, this doesn't necessary mean they are the ...

Re: Lost weapons
If you exited the game correctly then i have no idea it acted like that. However and 1st thing you should do is starting up a backup plan by either saving the game on another memory card (or another memory card slot if the card has that feature) or by using the saving and restore commands in the lob...

Re: PSO Questions & Answers
I was actually unsure if they worked, because sadly i couldn't find any info on the faq about it, i probably missed it. There seems to be options of command only for PSO PC, but no info about what works or not for GC. As trivial as this may sound, adding what works or not for GC would be recommended...

Re: PSO Questions & Answers
You can also use the save and restore commands on the server. You save, do your things and if something goes wrong you can simply go to the the lobby, restore and then exit the game to save the inventory. If you restore and then join a game, i believe the restored inventory is lost, but i'm not sur...

Re: How do you back up your PSO files (if at all)?
I backup by creating a dummy file (currently the dummy is my actual char) and then by saving over it with an actual main char, the game will allow it after 5 attempts and will replace the dummy char with your current char. It's like having a 2nd save state, even if i lose the char online, i will sim...

Re: Question No. 2475 about Serial Numbers
Forgot to say that the changed region disk won't work if the memory in the dreamcast is erased (it isn't the case here), indeed changing the region disk shouldn't create a problem and will only when going online for the 1st time or when going offline with a new dc (since that mostly requires a flash...

Re: Question No. 2475 about Serial Numbers
Yes, it works as long you use a serial that works for both the game version and char you are going to use. If it works only for the game version, the char will be locked in the vmu, presenting itself as "corrupted" in the US game version. If it works only for the char then it will lock the...
