UN passes anti-blasphemy measure
What are they thinking?... Always two steps forward and one back on things affecting human right issues. Is the UN endorsing Islam as an official religion? UNITED NATIONS - Islamic countries Monday won United Nations backing for an anti-blasphemy measure Canada and other Western critics say risks be...

Re: All the Libruls Must Die
It's easy to just dismiss this guy as crazy, but the scary thing is that this kind of rhetoric has been known to convince otherwise sane people. You're right; If it isn't always a mental disorder to blame then maybe it's delusion? Take for instance this guy: “If I didn’t take my sonââ...

Re: Bus Wars II: The Christians Strike Back
Yeah it is all rather amusing to think either side could actually influence a lot of people with ads like these. I mean come on, you'd have to be pretty dense or feeble minded to let them do so. But I have a feeling that some of the Christian groups would rather put up ads like these hypothetical on...

Bus Wars II: The Christians Strike Back
Christian groups are launching their own advertisements to run across the side of London buses following an atheist campaign. The British Humanist Association launched adverts earlier in the year proclaiming: 'There is probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life.' It sparked almost 150 c...

Phelps suspension for a picture of bong inhale...
Any tokers in the house? 8-) JK But don't you think they're taking this a little too seriously? A "picture" of Phelps smoking marijuana gets him suspended for 3 months? One of the most harmless drugs to the human body, behind alcohol, and even some over the counter pain-killers? I think th...

Re: Faith and Healing
I seem to recall something similar once happening with tribal shamans on a reservation a few years ago. True, and not any more of an valid excuse. But aren't reservations kinda like international embassies? I thought that they have they own mini-governments with there own applicable laws, and they ...

Re: Faith and Healing
I don't know. It seems to me that if they want to arrest them for this type of behavior; then they will have to demonstrate at least willful ignorance to getting proper treatment for a serious ailment. There have been studies done on the efficacy of prayer to help heal, in the short term and the lon...

Re: Grocery Store Refuses to Say Happy Birthday Hitler
A name is a name. It's not the kids fault his parents are f**ked up. I he wants his name on a cake, he should get it. That's like a barber saying he wont trim up your toothbrush mustache, because it's associated with a genocidal maniac. I'm sure there were people with the Hitler name before he commi...

Re: PSOne Gaming
Games aren't like other entertainment formats. For instance music is timeless, It just depends on your taste. Movies the same...,Books...etc. On the other hand games you bought for 40-50$ ten years or longer ago would not be worth that today. As technology and video games progress there are standard...

Can DcPlaya play "video"?
From what I read in a thread here, some people think that DcPlaya can actually run a FLV video stream.
But after testing myself a few times, all I got was the audio running, and consistently at least. So, is there a specific format the video has to be in to play? Or does it only play audio after all?

Well, excuse me... I do realize that quite a few people here are friends, but isn't this site's domain name based on the DC?
I guess it was a pointless question, but at least I got my answer about the state of Dreamcast homebrew scene.

Future of DC homebrew gone with the wind?
Why are all of the DC forums dead? With the exception of an occasional new game (like "DUX"), there's hardly enough scene activity to even be considered a scene anymore. No one bothers to remove the old 2007 news from Dcscene's front page, and the forums have been left to the spammers. It'...
