Looks nice... but he looks NOTHING like Max Payne. I'm assuming this is a different playable character? Graphics aren't really that incredible, looks like the exact same engine Max Payne ran on, even down to the clipping problems. Now it just has awesome high detailed, high polygon models. Which is ...

Dude the DC already has KOF 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, & 2002. Get them cuz these versions are BETTER than the arcade ones. It would kick ass to paly KOF 1994 on my DC though, but like they said the roms are too large so... According to this , these KOF games have been released on DC: The King of ...

Bah, I'd have to import that, and not counting boot disks/shipping it'd cost me 5 times what I pay for any other game. :/ I'm a bargain hunter. ;)

Disable music in MvC2... ActionReplay?

Are there were any cheat devices that can do non-cheaty things such as disable the godawful music in Marvel vs Capcom 2? My only refuge is the mute button... damn that character select music to all hell...

I am using visual c++ and kos 1.9, and the following "vram_s[x + (y * 640)] = PACK_PIXEL(r, g, b); " would not work for me. Is this method not supported in 1.9? Did you actually #define the PACK_PIXEL macro, as BlackAura described? EDIT: Just noticed, when defining it's called "PACK_...

I don't use Logitech's mouse software, have no use for it. The software's pretty dodgy really, assigning the 3rd and 4th mouse buttons with it tends to screw up how most applications interpret them. I just use the standard Win2K drivers (HID-compliant mouse or something), works fine for me.

Blah, I need a new mouse. My mouseman optical is showing it's age, plus when you move it really fast it kinda jerks, doesn't move all the way. A few people have suggested the MX500... 404, is the MX300 any good?

Heh, I remember my first computer, was an Amstrad with a monochrome (Black/Green) monitor, running some ancient version of DOS and some whacked menu system. After a while I found a "Config" option, and I thought it had something to do with figs, the fruit. (I was like.. 8 years old) I ende...

Don't see why this would be the most censor-upsetting, what about Postal 2? Of course, the real question is, will it be fun? With GTA2 being the most recent Rockstar game I've played, I'm not in a position to comment. ;)

The flickering at the top of the screen happens when you use poor video leads like RF or Composite cables, get yourself a proper RGB Scart lead and the flicker at the top of the screen will be no more. Well, I'm using S-Video, but none of my TVs have Scart connectors. I'm guessing it's more common ...

I'm guessing you can't create hardware anti-aliased vectors on the DC? I suppose it shouldn't be too hard to write a basic software AA algorithm. Eh, nevermind me, just thinking out loud again.

Strange, could have sworn some of my DC games ran fullscreen at 50Hz. Maybe it's only certain resolutions? *shrug* I'll have a look later. I'll be opting for a 60/50 selection screen in any case.

Thanks a bunch, I'll be sure to save it for future reference. Just a question though, when running the PAL resolutions: would they have black borders like some of the DC PAL games? They all have the same no. pixels as the 60Hz equivalents, and as PAL has more vertical scan lines than NTSC, I'm assum...

Heh, for FF6's random battles, I just used ZSNES's fast forward button and held down a button to constantly attack. Sure I'd come off worse than a proper attack, but far faster, less pain. ;)
