Re: Three problems with NesterDC SE

It should be noted that the DC Evo library is actually also mirrored at DCHelp. You can access it from either:
http://dcevolution.net/nesterdcse/master_library/
or
http://dchelp.net/nesterdcse/master_library/

Both of those should be identical.

Re: Help with NesterdC SE!

Stryfe - I'm guessing you are recommending a CD-RW strictly for testing the burning process, not for actually testing the disc in the Dreamcast. However, you should make it clear that you can't actually use a CD-RW in a Dreamcast without modifying the position of the laser (which can be extremely ha...

Re: Happy Halloween!

I posted pics of the pumpkins I carved this year on TwitPic. http://web8.twitpic.com/img/39881217-596f0dee8cd94e0857f6ed061ad03596.4aed9f67-scaled.jpg Other than that, I took the twins to a haunted house at the local fire hall, then came back to the house and watched three of the six classic horror ...

Re: 2 Questions regarding emus

I recommend using a rewritable cd-rw first to see if your drive is capable of using the cdrecord option first. Just make sure you don't try to use that CD-RW in your Dreamcast. While it won't do any damage or anything, it won't work in there, either. The DC isn't capable of reading CD-RWs without p...

I check http://forums.linuxmint.com/ occasionally, but mostly only when I have a problem. I check http://yabbfoum.com/community/YaBB.pl occasionally. I visit http://forums.htmlcenter.com/ basically every day, but rarely post anymore. Obviously, I check http://dreamzoneboards.com/ fairly often, but w...

Most likely still Linux Mint, with the occasional boot into Vista (mostly for iTunes).

At work, I'll be using Vista.

Re: Questions About iTunes HD Video

Thanks for the info, guys, and thanks for the link, Imp. I'll check that out. I've been really wanting both series of Torchwood and all four series of the new Doctor Who, but last time I looked, they were all hovering around $100/set. I'm glad to see the prices have dropped a good bit, but it would ...

Re: Xbox 360 Wireless Networking

I'll probably run out to OfficeMax or Staples this weekend and see what I can find in the way of inexpensive routers. Hopefully I'll get one that can be flashed (or, if not, hopefully my WRT54G can be) and I'll be able to get it working properly.

Questions About iTunes HD Video

How high is the quality of the HD videos available from iTunes? Is it at least as good as normal DVD quality? I would be watching these videos either on a 24" LCD widescreen monitor or a 42" 1080p HDTV. I noticed that I can buy the whole first series of Torchwood on iTunes as HD video for ...

Re: Xbox 360 Wireless Networking

Very cool news. Thanks for the info, guys. It sounds like I can run out and buy pretty much any router I want, as Pixel says the WRT54G is flashable. Of course, once I finally do do that, I'll probably be back looking for support on actually setting it up (assuming the articles I found aren't descri...

Xbox 360 Wireless Networking

Here's the deal: 1) I have a satellite Internet connection. The satellite modem is in our bedroom. I have it plugged into a wireless router in our bedroom. 2) My stepson has an Xbox 360 in his bedroom (on the other side of the house). 3) We would like to be able to allow him to connect to Xbox Live....

Re: Michael Jackson, dead at age 50

This was quite heartbreaking for me. He was my childhood idol growing up, and I still listen to his music fairly often. I've learned to separate MJ's music and stage persona with his personal life. I was always hoping he would come out with another groundbreaking album since Invincible wasn't anyth...

Isn't Secret Maryo Chronicles written in C++? I didn't think the DC supported that particular language. Of course, it's been a while since I paid any attention.

Re: iPhone 3.0 beta questions

I completely understand what you're saying, Mel. I just can't imagine 32 gigs being big enough. I'm not even halfway through digitizing my CD collection, and I've already used up about 60 gigs of space on my Zune.
