Dreamcast Overclock help needed...

I kow there are many a thread for this, but I just need a few questions answered real quick. 1. What does the DC CPU normally run at? I can't find that for some reason. 2. What is the ideal overclock speed that allows the DC to boot and run perfect, without flaw? Over-look heating inssues right now....

Why screw with a lttle PSone screen? Get a big 7.5" LCD like in cars! That would be way sweeter. Remove all the DC guts, and install them in there then. Maybe create a little place to flip through all your games, and then a little place to hold a controller or two... Make it both battery and wa...

I'll give you $20 for the pipes! Or my truck! Actually if I remember correctly,t he pipes don't offer much more cooling than just the plain old fan does for some reason. You'd think as soon as heat i formed, the sink would pick it up and transfer it sown to the fan immediatly right? Not really. If t...

Go to chipzone.com and order one. They make a special stealth 2 chip with 6 wires, all easy. I modded my psone with one quick. Don't break the legs. you'll have a harder time, like me!

PSOne mods!

Alright, since i quit on the portable, and just rebuilt the entire system, i've done a few mods to show off. I only have pics of one mod though. I have successfully stealth mod chipped the system, replaced the green LED with an ultrabright blue one, AND installed RCA jcaks on the right of the system...

I think you canpatch off the "intended" VGA RGB lines to ptach into RGB on a PSone LCD screen.

I'll take the mod chip, since most of the connections from my faulty Messiah 2 Pro are the same for your chip too. I only have like 6 of the connections to do for your chip in order for it to work on my system. As for those HDDs, I'll take them for free if you wish. the more space i have on my PC th...

Yeah, the PYLE up there is a cross-over. Works well, just wasn't stable with my amp and sub set-up. Cross-over didn't like my amps gain maxed out, so it introduced noise tot he bass.

That just means you have a loose wire, and when the disc isn't spinning, the wire isn't moving and touching the supply. Or the wire on the LED leg isn't soldered on, but inside a solder hole.

Sorry to change my mind so much, but I got to thinking. Instead of going for a portable, which i probably wouldn't use anyway, why not re-build the whole psone back up, LCD and all, and have a functioning system with mod chip to play all my imports and CDR's? I did that last night. I have a PSone wi...

Yeah, i got a pic of the fuses I took as part of my repair section of my tutorial. I'll post it later. Its easy. I just shorted out one of the 4 1.0 amp fuses that are surface mount, black squares around the area the 5v regulator is. Some say "S.0", yes S.0, OR 1.0.
