This is a really stupid debate. They both can do the same thing, it is all personal preference. ZSNES does tend to run better on really old computers, but any thing 350mhz and above can run them both the same. At least that has been my experience. I personally like SNES9x. ZSNES was great back in th...

With the exception of analog on the PSX, everything is pretty much same for every pad hack. Hence, the NES tutorial will work for SNES, and PSX (minus analog). It's not that hard, you just need to think a little bit. :) I think Marvin's the only one that has done dual-shock to DC. He did a how-to o...

What are the advantages of using notepad? Clean HTML. You have complete and total control as well. If you are going to do any PHP/ASP/etc you are best off using homesite or edit plus2 any way. If you are just making a crappy peresonal site use a wysiwyg editor. There is no headaches with notepad, H...

Save States shouldn't be implemented, make it like a real SNES. Although you mentioned Save States are not possible, even if they were you really shouldn't include them. I would rather see the smoother emulation, changing screens in zelda/most rpgs isn't very smooth. I could probably deal with the s...

Question: Playstation -> DC Controller mod?
I assume it is possible, only hooking up the pad/buttons/l1/r1 (possibly r2/l2 also, but only to an existant DC button). Has any one done it, or would any one be willing to make a tutorial on it? I am not really a fan of the DC controller. It isn't bad, but I have had issues with buttons getting jam...

Got disc juggler to work. I feel the love, the love of NesterDC... in 30 minutes maybe. If you have a older CD-R drive it is best to not touch the computer while its burning. My first was a HP and it didn't wanna work with nothing but EX creator either. MY newest one is a 40X12X48X and it was only ...

Re: great
interesting, its nice to see that my topic has somehow been revived, i assume it should be posted as a sticky temporarily once again. I don't think it needs a sticky.. The save file is still on the VMU, DreamSNES either doesn't notice it or it saved it wrong, so it is corrupt. Were you using the sa...

It might be a problem with your vmu.. I've still got saves from over a year ago on my vmu. I have saves from ages ago as well, but some times I think it botches the save. It has happened to me twice with Secret of Mana, both at compeltely unrelated areas/times during the game. The save file is stil...

You got Windows XP? I had a lot of problem out of cd-burners also. My first one constantly gave me buffer underrun errors. My 2nd grinded on me after owning it 1 month. And now I have 2 burners and still can't get Disc Juggler to work (which seems most dreamcast stuff is in CDI format). I had 98, t...

CD Burners Hate Me
Grr. I hate them, too. Every CD burner I use either dies, or isn't compatible with most programs. My current CD burner has only worked with DiscJuggler and the DreamSNES burn program done in PIKE. Now, just working with DiscJuggler wouldn't be all that bad if I could actually load disc juggler image...

The only specific requests I have are: 1) Fix the corrupt save bug, it is really annoying. Everything works fine, then one day it doesn't show any of the saves you have. 2) Make accessing the vmu quicker, some games like Dragon Ball Z Hyper Dimension access it the VMU like crazy, and that makes it b...

The cross-platform DSNES burner works perfectly fine on windows. If you poke through enough pages on the site, they have a package that installs PIKE and every thing else you need to burn with it. It works with practically any cd-burner. Nero/East CD Creator/Fire Burner/ETc won't work with mine. Onl...
