It is then interpreted though.
Advantages:
Java is multiplatform
Programs can be viewed through web browsers
Better syntax for object orientation IMO than C++
Disadvantages:
Slower than C++
You can compile to .jar, but I still think the program is interpreted.

The syntax in java is the best I have ever seen out of any language. I think you will enjoy it. I am currently looking for a java text editor, for a program that I have to compile with a script. By java text editor I mean a editor that highlights data types and such in different colors (like an IDE ...

Tom Goes To The Mayor = crap Case Closed = crap to the extreme They should just stick to [good] shows like Family Guy and Futurama, not these homebrew Adult Swim-only cartoons. People like you are why I don't watch AS that much anymore. It's not an insult, but the whole reason it was created in the...

Not much else to say. You all can listen to the creator of bleemcast who knows what he's talking about, or some idiot who thinks he knows everything. SirSolBadGuy, I'm sorry that your an idiot who can't figure out that your dc does not have the cdr bios protection. If you knew how to learn from some...

The site is wrong. All PAL maybe, All NTSC is a definite no. Read rands post, it clears up why some dc's can only read cdrs that way. If bios protection is enabled in a dc then it can't read cdrs no matter what. It is a definite no. If you have a model 2 dc that doesn't boot cdrs, then it simply doe...

http://www.jameco.com. This site is great, it has a large variety of digital/analog/general electrical supplies. You can get a 40 mhz oscillator there for very cheap, it's where I bought mine(although I haven't overclocked yet). Yeah, you can overclock the video. Jameco doesn't have anything suitabl...

I doubt he meant homebrew. Why does everyone get so pissed when people talk about copied stuff? Big Deal, most all of us do it, whether you admit it or not. It's not immoral, the dc has been dead for a long time. It's against forum rules, but as long as you don't provide any links, or get into indep...
