I wish for people to put money into the pockets of people who do stuff for the Dreamcast Scene! Hell, I donated 35 bucks to the Dream On contest. By the way, DONATE MORE, PEOPLE! I want to see some more people enter this contest, and there is still quite a bit of time left before the due date. Hop t...

Well, I can't tell you exactly what happened, but it looks like you're on a network with a Linux server that is running a program called Squid. It's a net caching program. Pretty good for cutting down on bandwidth usage for sites you visit a lot. Goes out to frequently visited sites, downloads any c...

Tryptonite!
Hey everyone. Cryptic Allusion is proud to announce our next game project, already in the works! It's (as the title states) Tryptonite...a continuation/update of our past project from DC Tonic. Check out the new site at http://www.tryptonite.com , and then comment about it on our forums at http://ww...

Rock the Vote!
Hey everyone, I just posted this over on the Cryptic Allusion forums, but I need to reach as many people as possible, so here goes: Okay people, get off your butts...rather, stay on them...and head (quickly!!!) over to http://www.spiketv.com . There you will see that Spike TV has announced that they...

Well, speaking of MGS (and segueing into a post about music), I had Dan post an ogg of a new song we're going to be using in Project X. It's in the Cryptic Allusion forums here: http://www.cagames.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=275 . It was very much inspired by Harry Gregson-Williams' music from the se...

All signs I've seen point to MGS3 being a prequel anyhow, so that may cause some problems. I thought that MGS3 was supposed to just return to the jungle from the first game...not tell backstory in realtime (i.e., without flashbacks). So, it would still take place after MGS2. That was my impression ...

Re: The Matrix Revolution is here...
Though this is not about the Nov. 5 release of The Matrix Revolutions (which is probably gonning to be the bestest best movie EVER!!) but is instead about Nero (the burning app.). I got an error when trying to burn my nrg image. It said "Audio - Can not write track at correct possition with th...

Ok, DJ Geki, I have to face the consequences of my angry burst:) I didn't mean to start any flame between anybody. I guess when people share a passion (for gaming and the Dreamcast) they'd better find common language than quarrel. That's alright then. As long as it wasn't meant to start a war, ever...

This is especially for Lunchbox: USA is but a single country - not even a whole continent, and very far from the whole world! I feel sorry for your bad luck as it turned out that the only place that didn't see the release of Shenmue 2 for DC is your very own great country and Canada... Dontcha thin...

A: If the winning entry wishes to add to their game after the deadline, they are allowed, but the deadline is February 28, 2003 . If so, that'd be quite the spacetime continuum programming feat. (Yes, I know I'm being nitpicky, but, I was already here, so I thought I'd mention it) I suppose ...
