Re: Atari>Nintendo
Atari? You're still posting about it?
Man. This is like hitting a timewarp, pre-JKKDARK.

Ghostbusters.
The only good thing Atari has ever done.
And even with that game they somehow managed to fuck up the achievements and STILL haven't released a patch to fix them yet.

Re: Atari>Nintendo
Warner Communications can be blamed for the crash and Atari's failure. Atari of now is Atari in name only. Those who bought the name have done fairly well by it in my opinion. Taking away control from Nolan Bushnell was a colossal mistake. Although he has done quite well with things like Chuck E Cheese.
As far as my thoughts on the original topic, Nintendo has lasted significantly longer staying successful through playing cards taxi services love hotels toys and eventually video games.
Either way suck it atari.

Re: Atari>Nintendo
I can picture the scene, you're at a funeral, you're invited to the front to say a few words about the recently deceased. You slowly walk towards the front of the chapel, passing the rows of mourning friends and family members, their eyes raw from crying. You turn around to face the crowd and clearing your throat you declare "I FUCKING LOVE ATARI THE JAGUAR WAS A VERY UNDER-RATED CONSOLE LOL"Smiley wrote:not just souLLy now wrote:Smiley, are you anything like your online persona when away from the computer? Actually, I blame the amount of crappy third party games as one of the most definitive reasons for the crash...even though atari made the crappy et game, imo, it wasnt the main reason, and besides, the game isnt that bad.
its not like that at all..Im just like any other gamer....Much like ford, chevy etc guys, I have a very strong opinion about certain subjects. Still very funny line...not just souLLy now wrote:I can picture the scene, you're at a funeral, you're invited to the front to say a few words about the recently deceased. Pioneered then killed off until the NES came along and pretty much resurrected the industry.Smiley wrote:Nintendo may have been more successful in the industry but Atari pioneered it all.
