What is a reasonable price for a Sega Saturn?

Post by abydos1000 »

So what does a used Sega Saturn go for these days? A local (well not so local) classic games and toy store is asking $40.00 for one. This seems a bit steep to me since no games are included. A glance at ebay shows that winning bids can vary quite a bit (I mean systems that come with 3-6 not so rare games). I've seen ones go for the same amount of money with a few games, though you can really get gouged on shipping if you are not careful.

An advantage of going local of course is the ease of returning it if it is broken. They are fairly good about their return policy, and their used CD based games usually are in pretty good shape, even Sega CD ones.

I am not sure about prices in the US, but $40 seems very okay to me.

I got 23 dollars for my sega saturn on ebay. It came with 5 games and 2 controllers.

So, I would say try ebay, they can be had cheaply.

i generally see them for about 50 dollars on ebay and amazon. i'm considering buying one soon, and if I could find one for as cheap as some of those, that'd be sweet.
