LEDs question

So I got my dreamcast back from a friend who has had it for over a year.... And I stumble on this forum (and others) Which sparked me to do some moding of my own.

I put a LED in the VMU and the controller:



I replaced the main light on the DC, but wanted to add two more to the inside where the disk is (which I have already made the holes for):



Can I wire these two to the main LED or should I put a resistor in there some where or.... What would be the best way to do this? ^_^

I did the same thing, I routed them to the PSU. They were 5v LED's so I used the 5v pin (obviously).

I hooked the two 5v to the 5v pin but they both bluw after a bit, should I use a resistor and what size do you think?

If they're 5v LED's, they should work fine. Did you hook them up in a series?

This is how I hooked them up, one + to both and one - to both.

+5v ---- (+)LED(-) ---- (+)LED(-) ---- GND
