So what do you do with your Dreamcast?
This is kind of a fair question, the DC is OLD now. I still got mine, in fact it is the only system I have anymore,a and I have 3 boxes in the back of my house with a DC, peripherals and about 70 games, most of them 1 on 1 fighters. But like, what do you do with your DC? It seems like none of my friends play one on one games anymore and the capacity for web browsing is pretty much obsolete. Those of you who play DC still, how do you play it? What do you do on it? Beat the same games over again? Have DC clique of people you like to hang out and play games with? I dunno, indulge me.
I have a secret...

Re: So what do you do with your Dreamcast?
Most of the time I work with Dreamcast related stuff rather than actually playing games but yeah, it's the only system I do play with; homebrew and emulators mostly. I used to play a lot 1 on 1 fighters against my brother and mostly shmups myself (which I still do). Also, my friends and I usually play a couple of classic games with GenesisPlusDC, NesterDC and Neo4All during the weekends whenever we got nothing else to do.
Insane homebrew collector.

Play SHUMPS with my best friend. NESTER DC. Would be playing PSO, but cant get my BBA to connect currently But 3 of my best friends were really big into dreamcast so we play a lot of 3-4 player games a lot. though my 360 has taken a lot of its place now.

I played PSO and Q3A online with my friends from DCArena.de. But my DC isn't working anymore.

Re: So what do you do with your Dreamcast?
My gaming has been layed out across various systems. For Dreamcast, I have been playing off and on a little PSO to try to build up my level 106 character. I'm still getting slowly through Half-Life. However, I picked up some great imports while I was in Japan this Summer. I finish classes this Friday. So for the next 2 weeks, I will be getting my game on.

I think the last official DC game that I beat was Grandia II like 6 months ago. I'm trying to get ahold of Skies of Arcadia for Christmas.
I use NESterDC and DreamSNES quite a bit. Usually it's just devving related things on the weekend.

Mine sits in a closet since I modded my XBox, I'll bring it out again when I move out of this house.

I still break out the multiplayer games and 4 controllers when my buddies come over.
4 player Tennis 2K2 and Chu Chu Rocket = Orgasm.

Re: So what do you do with your Dreamcast?
I had just one "devil" left to beat and had my lancer maxed out after countless hours of play when Quake broke my saves... i'll explain to avoid this happening to anyone else:Arqueiro wrote:now im Playing TXR2 too just got my mitsubish eclipse
I upgraded the VMU to 240 blocks via Dreamexplorer, all the games worked perfectly, but apparently Quake thinks that the size of the VMU should be 200 Blocks and just corrupted (not deleted) all the files on the VMU.
Last night i played NiuNiu with my son again and got to level 4-2, this has to be one of the hardest, yet well designed games ever

Re: So what do you do with your Dreamcast?
i recently brought it back out to play pso via 56k! its rather dead for non blue bursters. right now, i'm working on an updated nester dc cd. made new background pics and going through the rom list and correcting game titles so it looks spiffy. i'll post the bg pics in the art section soon. i may even burn an updated doom dc cd and or look into some bor games.

Re: So what do you do with your Dreamcast?
Unfortunately, this has been a really, really good year for video game releases, which translates into a really bad year for my Dreamcast. Last year you would find me breaking out Headhunter and Ikaruga every once in a while, but there was so many new games coming out this year that my days have been filled with new releases.
