But if you want a little known but great game, go with Whomp'Em
It answers the very common question; "what if Megaman was an indian?"

If I made a list of the top 10 reasons to own a N64, this would be one of them. I played Blast Corps until there was no secret left uncovered and no time goal left to beat. The amount of time I sunk into that game is immense.not just souLLy now wrote:truthMulletMan13 wrote:Yesssssssss!Covar wrote:don't know how much this one counts, but Blast Corps the n64
i would love a sequel to this.

Re: Great games no one played
...Of course, there is one game that I would immediately put at the top of this list anywhere other than here:
But, DCEmu is the one place in the known universe where the game seems to be ubiquitous and well-loved.

Rez is pretty kick ass.
I actually started playing Klonoa - Door to Phantomile tonight and man it is a lot of fun. Does it remind any body else of that sonic demo for the saturn just minus the fish eye effect?
Anyways, to add to the list
Fur Fighters

Hah--incidentally, Fur Fighters was released for PS2 under the name Fur Fighters: Viggo's Revenge. It was the exact same game, except they added cel shading.Zealous zerotype wrote:Rez is pretty kick ass.

Honestly, you could pretty much just go down the list of scene-popular Dreamcast releases for this list, since nobody outside of here seems to have played them. Rez, Power Stone, Space Channel 5, LOL, Jet Grind Radio, Confidential Mission, Headhunter, Evil Twin, Cosmic Smash, etc. etc.

The original Jet Grind Radio was soooooooooooooooooooooo good.DaMadFiddler wrote: Power Stone, Space Channel 5, LOL, Jet Grind Radio, Confidential Mission, Headhunter, Evil Twin, Cosmic Smash, etc. etc.
I'd put it in my top 3 of video game experiences...
Mario 64
Jet Grind Radio
Legend of Zelda: OoT
The excitement I felt the entire time I played was ridiculous.

Re: Great games no one played
I've gotta say my list would probably be identical, at the very least they'd all be in my top 5. I loved just about everything about Jet Set Radio, the music, the graphics, the learning curve. I've not bought my Dreamcast to my new flat yet but I've been itching to play Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi and HOTD 2 again lately- this thread reminded me of that again...MulletMan13 wrote:The original Jet Grind Radio was soooooooooooooooooooooo good.DaMadFiddler wrote: Power Stone, Space Channel 5, LOL, Jet Grind Radio, Confidential Mission, Headhunter, Evil Twin, Cosmic Smash, etc. etc.

Re: Great games no one played
I recently picked up JGR and my god, I beat it pretty quickly, but it was soooo amazing. It had a learning curve for jumping, but once you get ust to that you are good to go. I liked Cosmic Smash even though I wasn't any good at it when I tried it. Maybe I will try it again, but for right now I'm playing Klonoa and I really need to finish SH1 after that.

Might want to re-read the thread title a little more carefully; I think you missed a wordJKKDARK wrote:No one played Sonic Shuffle
Incidentally, I have one to add to the list:
I-Ninja. It was a straight-up platformer for 'Cube, PS2, and Xbox, with a cartoony aesthetic and a sense of humor that showed it didn't take itself seriously at all. It was also a lot of fun, if you enjoy platformers. However, it was largely ignored by gaming publications, and I don't think it sold very well. I bought it on impulse a few years back, and played straight through it. A couple of my friends who saw me playing thought it was enough fun that they went out and got it for themselves.

Z by Bitmap Brothers is probably one of the best games no one ever played.
Insane homebrew collector.

Sonic Shuffle is the most horrible "game" I've ever seen in my life. Technically it is not even a game.
Insane homebrew collector.

Re: Great games no one played
I'm sure some of you have heard of it, but it being on the Mega-CD and an adventure game I wouldn't think a lot of people played it: Snatcher
Basically if you've enjoyed adventure games like the ones for the DS (Phoenix Wright, Hotel Dusk), then there's a good chance you'll love Snatcher.
