Give me both and I'll be extremly happy. First time I actually played the one for nes was on an emu for the dc.

But I did love the one for the snes.

Indeed this is a good idea for a thread - I keep littering the forums with my VC inquiries. :(

It would be a lot better to just ask people to post the region of the releases.

Yeah, I also think that would be fair. I think I'll fix it again.

Occasionally Europe gets VC stuff before the US does, so its a little preview of whats coming up for you guys (and usually pricing for it too).

Still waiting for Lylat Wars...

europe got zelda 2 a really long time ago, 2 months ago on february 9th. i dont like zelda 2 but games can take a really long time to get from europe to the us, and the other way around too like with a link to the past just not as long.

bonk has been confirmed, but the rest have not been confirmed. just because the game shows up on the servers doesnt mean its coming out right away. yes they will be coming just we can not say monday for sure. and on a lighter note:

Id buy punchout if Nintendo didn't force people to buy $10 worth of points.

There are still many great and classic games I'd love to see on VC, which haven't (yet, at least) shown any indication of coming to the system:

- Aladdin (Genesis)
- Batman: Return of the Joker
- Castlevania 3
- Chip & Dale's Rescue Rangers
- ChronoTrigger
- Clayfighter
- Dr. Mario
- Dracula X
- Earthworm Jim
- Gex 64
- Kid Chameleon
- Metal Gear 1 & 2
- Ninja Gaiden
- Pocky & Rocky
- Rayman 2
- Rocket Knight
- Rockman & Forte
- Shinobi 1-3
- Sonic CD
- Space Harrier
- Star Fox
- Starcraft 64
- Super Mario Kart
- Super Mario RPG
- Super Smash Bros.
- Timestalkers
- TMNT 2: The Arcade Game

That's from the systems that Nintendo is currently supporting on the Virtual Console. Some (such as Megaman X, and the Sonic games) I didn't bother listing, because they're already available in collections for GameCube.

There is a whole list of other games I'd like to see as well, if they ever decide to add Master System & handheld (Gameboy, GBC, GameGear, possibly NGPC & Lynx) games into the mix. The handheld games would actually make more sense as an extension of the VC service to the DS, but there really is no reason for Master System not to be on the list. Zillion, Golden Axe Warrior, and the SMS version of Batman Returns are among my top-priority games for that system.

Unlikely to ever appear due to licencing issues:
- Aladdin (Genesis)
- Batman: Return of the Joker
- Chip & Dale's Rescue Rangers
- TMNT 2: The Arcade Game
- Starcraft 64 (was this ever actually released outside of ROM format?)
- Super Mario RPG
- Ninja Gaiden

Already submitted to various licencing authorities for age ratings:
- Dr. Mario
- Kid Chameleon
Likely future releases
- Castlevania 3
- Metal Gear 1 & 2
- Super Smash Bros.
Unlikely future releases
- Dracula X
- Clayfighter
- Gex 64
- Pocky & Rocky
- Sonic CD
- Star Fox (N64 sequel already out)
- Super Mario Kart (N64 sequel already out)
- Rockman & Forte (JPN only release if at all)
Who knows?
- ChronoTrigger
- Earthworm Jim
- Rayman 2
- Rocket Knight
- Shinobi 1-3
- Space Harrier
- Timestalkers
