a lot of good stuff in there, sadly a lot of crap in there too, but meh, who cares. Its a big list, which means great support, which means long live DS.

The only titles that interest me are Yoshi's Island and Diddy Kong Racing.

Does anyone know if DKR is going to be a port, remake, or sequel? With or without onlien Wifi capabilities? I loved that game to death on N64 but got my game stolen from me before I ever got to finish it.

awesome..even if it is a straight port with NOTHING cleaned up in it (though it would be even better if they did some anti-aliasing on the graphics and such to make it look sharper)
Erm, it isnt a straight port, its a complete 3D remake.

E3 06: Microsoft's Rare working on DS game
Developer debuts on Nintendo's handheld with a follow-up to its 1997 Nintendo 64 kart racer Diddy Kong Racing.
By Brendan Sinclair, GameSpot
Posted May 11, 2006 10:03 am PT

When Microsoft purchased longtime Nintendo partner Rare Ltd., it ensured the developer would not be making games for its rivals' home consoles. However, Microsoft's acquisition has continued to support Nintendo's Game Boy Advance with offerings like It's Mr. Pants!, Donkey Kong Country 3, and Sabre Wulf. Now Rare is expanding its support to Nintendo's DS.

The company is working on a DS follow-up to its 1997 kart racing game Diddy Kong Racing, which its Web site said is "based on the N64 classic but improved and expanded in ways that only the DS allows."

Details are scarce, but the developer said it will utilize the system's touch screen and microphone and have support for eight-player match-ups from a single copy of the game, and Wi-Fi support. As far as gameplay goes, Diddy Kong Racing will feature new modes, weapons, challenges and playable characters, revamped tracks from the original game, as well as "TT's Wish Races, where you can create your very own tracks."

I loved that game too; I beat it 100% back in the day. Yet, when I popped it back in a year ago, it really sucked the big one. It really hasn't stood the test of time very well, unlike the Mario Kart series.

The adventure part is way cool though. If they could figure out some way to tweak some of the problems, then hot damn, they have an MK killer. I'll still buy it either way.
Very sexy hero, omg

I wonder if it's going to have Conker again.

And I would also like to reiterate that everyone must get Phoenix Wright 2!!!

Especially if you don't have a DS. The sheer intensity of having it sit on the shelf without a system to play it on will be enough to make you get a DS. It's like having Chuck Norris without his roundhouse kick. Just the presence of Chuck Norris is badass enough, but he's just not functional without having a roundhouse kick to prove it.

I couldn't get into Phoenix Wright. I played it for ~20 minutes and gave up.

I borrowed a copy of Phoenix Wright from a friend and didn't think it was that great. Maybe that's me..it just wasn't my cup of tea.

anyway, I'm mostly interested in the games that nintendo has planned for the ds: the zelda game; star fox; yoshi's story 2; the new mario vs. donkey kong; etc.

off topic: but I hope that Ninty is planning some Donkey Konga sequels for the wii; and even hope that they make some Pikmin sequels. That'd be kick-arse.
