Dream msx help

Hey just downloaded and booted dream msx to dreamcast to play the metal gear games but to my dismay the disk boooted only to freeze to a black screen. I think i did something wrong during a process, please can someone tell me how to boot a working dream msx disk
by the way i have tried the tutotial for the emulator but it wants me to go into ms dos and my comp is totally messed with dos at the moment + i think its totally unncessary

It's faster than fMSX or DreamMSX.

I havn't seen a single post anywhere in regards to speed, compatability, or accuracy. remember newer != better. (i'm not saying it's worse, i'm just saying it's bad to automatically point to the newest thing and claim it better)

MSXCast is in an very early stage, but speed and sound are good. The emu has lacks as I said at the doc text file in zip (readme.1st), here is a copy & paste
MSXCast MadriDc Ed.

Intro:
This is an release of an emulator showed at MadriDc party. It's a very
very very preliminary version. It's a bit buggy.

Release:
The file is an unscrabled binarie. The games rom must go in a folder
called msxcast in the root of cd.

Usage:
Simply select a rom with the file manager, and push A button to run. In
order to come back to main menu simply push START button.

Lacks:
- NEEDS keyboard
- Menu items are DISABLED
- ONLY rom file allowed
- NO zip,bzip,... suport
- NO vkeyboard suport
- NO savestates suport
- NO fast-savestates suport
- NO picture suport
- NO change model suport
- Some more things
