A Remake of Sonic 2 For The Dreamcast (If Possible?)

I was thinking, I wanted to remake Sonic The Hedgehog 2 for the Dreamcast and I thought of 2 ideas: kind of make it like sonic CD and have a custom soundtrack along with it or, remake into 3D and have the custom music in the game. I was listening to Sonic 2 OC remix album and I thought to myself, Why not try to make that game with that soundtrack if possible? Anyone else have any good ideas to add along?

Good idea. I thought of something similar when I listened to that OCR album

I'd hate to see a another 3D Sonic game though. A Sonic 2 remake needs to be 2D, so I took some notes about how to implement the MP3s into the real Sonic 2 Genesis/MegaDrive game via GenesisPlusDC (in fact I wrote a long email to BlackAura that I never sent him)...

Personally, I kinda like sonic 2 as it is. It was my favorite of all the 2d games, second only to sonic cd. But, hey, still sounds like an interesting project.

Yeah I'm still new at programming but I'm willing to make this project come true. I guess doing it in 2D wouldn't be bad but I also wanna add some cinemas as for an Intro and ending.

That would be a nice Parody to do lol. yeah we could add easter eggs into the project also.
