I seriously think snk needs to revive some of their other neogeo franchises, or at least make a compiliation game of them like I think I heard them talk about when they came back as snk playmore.

And I know that most of their fans remember them for their fighting games and metal slug, but imo, they need to do more (genre wise)

Can't say that I'm looking forward to it (since most of them have been pretty much the same-old) but I've heard about snk releasing yet another metal slug game (number six)

and speaking of snk, I was playing the first world heroes at my friends house, and I guess I never noticed it before but the guy M. Power?, who is a wrestler looks like Hulk Hogan. Secondly, the other guy's name slips my mind right now, but he is dressed/acts kinda like m. bison from the street fighter games.

kof is okay (my fav is still kof 98) but I prefer Garou mark of the wolves; svc choas; and samurai shodown 5.

SvC was a waste of time and hype. I still cant believe a few SNK fanboys still royally defend it.

Anyway, I'm gonna pick this up if it has a good concentration of people online. I liked KOF 03 a whole lot(I found 2002 very dissapointing), and I liked Neowave when I first got my hands on it.

among my other favorite fighting games for neogeo, was most of the world heroes games (especially the jet and perfect ones), so I'd like to see them do another one of them.

and prolly my favorite genre with the old neogeo games was the shooting games (blazing star; aero fighters 2 and 3, etc) plus, I really dig the baseball stars 2 and the league bowling. I thin it would be nice to make more of them with online capabilities. That'd be cool, imo.

Nope.

Prolly the worst neogeo games I've played thus far are Mutation Nation and Legend of success joe, or whatever the fudge it is called.

Having heard of but never played any of the neogeo hyper 64 games, and hearing good things about samurai shodown 64 froman all neogeo forum, I'm interested in tracking down some of the crap to play it. (even though an old egm from january 98 said it was terribly sllllllllllooooooooooooowwwwwww.

I just wanted to chime in and say that while snk may have had some decent fighting games, mainly just the samarai shodown and kof games, that for me, capcom made the better 2d fighting games.

Just my opinion.
