Wireless controllers for Dreamcast
Are there any and if not, is there a way to make a mod for a controller to make it work wirelessly?

I've seen two different wireless controllers for the DC. Both are IR, not RF based, so don't expect much out of them. There are the DOC's Wireless controllers. While you do get two of them in a package (each IR base comes with a pair of controllers), the look angle and response time aren't that great. Also, lousy VMU support (KILLED my old lvl 145 RaCast Techlancer). I got a pair for aorund 20 bucks, sold em two years later for much more. If you see some, they make good conversation pieces. The other wireless set I've seen is basically a wireless version of the Treamcast Lan-Kwei bundle fighter pad style controller. Never bought a pair, so couldn't really tell you how they are.
FYI, the DOC's wireless controllers do NOT work with the 3-in-1 PC joybox to use them on your PC.

Need a Treamcast, Dreamcast modchip, HUGE DC memory card, ASCII-like DC fighter pad, or Saturn Gameshark with tons of backup memory? PM me.

Well they did give a positive feedback.Smiley wrote:dunno..at one point someone from these forums was trying to convice playmessiah to make them (since they make ones for nes, snes, etc)HomerCIDAL wrote:Are there any and if not, is there a way to make a mod for a controller to make it work wirelessly?
Play Messiah
And they still have to do the sega genesis controllers afterwhich they probably do the saturn ones right after due to similar architecture. Fainally when they get sizeable income or they breakeven expect the dc controllers."The Nes and Snes controllers had a sizeable investment into them".
