Yup, I think that would be better, since this appears to be quite a comprehensive list.
Hell, it even has some of the more obscure games, like House of the Dead III (one of my favorites), and some of the crappiest games (Sneakers, The Great Escape).

im guessing new games also play a part in what games can be run, iirc top spin 2 is soon to be launched on 360, so why allow people to play the old one if you can make more money?

Bleh.. I wish there were no list to have to look at, and full compatibility. What a great selling point that'd be for the potential fan base that didn't purchase an xbox, and are holding out for a 360.
what they probably did was write an emulator then test it like hell with every release and just list the ones that worked, instead of writing the emulator for certain games.
Also, WTF?! they make the system, they have the resources hundreds of expert programmers for the platform and yet they can't write a decent emulator for the system ?! They couldn't even get Turok running, which is the only game that homebrew xbox emulator plays!

I thought the 360 architecture was like that of the original xbox, just more pumped up?
I sure hope they do a better job. All I have now is my stepdads broken xbox so I've never actually owned the system... for me, it'd be a huge contributing factor for my to buy an xbox 360 if it had proper backwards compatibility.
I was hoping that the backward compatibility would be atleast as good as, or better than the ps2 to psx compatibility. I understand it's emulation and won't be perfect, however one can expect a better job by the people who actually developed the system. I know the list is probably far from done, but I'm hoping that once the 360's released we're not always referring back to the list to see whether or not our games will work.
