That is also correct, haha. I'm not one of those sxe kids who are nuts about it...its how ive been for the last 8 years. Im not gonna go nuts if my buddy drinks or anything like that, haha lets get that squared away befor you put me in that group of edgers.

As long as edgers lead by example and not by brutality as some sects seem to do I'm fine with it. Hardline is scary as hell btw. Did it not work out for you? Or did you just see how genocidal it was.

One too many fights..plus i was 17 at the time and didnt know any better...so yea as I got older I saw that it was a waste of my time to beatup kids who didnt think the same was as me.

I'm not saying they don't look ridiculous. People just seem to REALLY hate them. As in, beyond "What a bunch of stupidly dressed folk". As if they're a threat to their existence or something (perhaps some people do feel threatened by their lack of conformity to aspects of the dominant culture - in the same way people feel threatened by other minority groups?).

Maybe it's just how exaggerated people often are the internet... But the bile people spew at goths is some of the nastiest I've seen on the internet - sometimes on par with what people said about Osama Bin Laden in the aftermath of September 11th

I'm not talking about what people are saying in this thread though. The stuff here just reminded me of what I've seen and heard elsewhere on the internet and in real life.
