Post by MrSiggler »

Remembering a post by someone here who had made an NES clock.. and wondering what use I could get from my junker DC, I went and stole the guys idea.

Still need to paint the hands black, and get some markers for the hours on there. But looks quite neat so far :)

Paint the hands orange and put black tick marks around it, don't use numbers. Pretty cool so far though.

That NES clock looks REALLY cool. That'd be awesome to have hanging up on my wall.

I'd probably use the clock that the NES mod uses for the Dreamcast one, since I like the plainess of the look.

Both are pretty neat.

 mine has the led running off of the controller board battery (3v) and when you press the power button it comes on. (it's been done!) i'd suggest it though cause it comes out great!

Do you have a pic of yours? Id like to see the LED on it, I was thinking of doing that to my clock.

Oh.. so it is feasable to have an LED in there. I had thought of doing it.. but assumed it wouldn't be worth it, due to battery drainage, and so forth.

How did you do it? and how did you rig up the power button, etc?

well i ripped off the two large gray wires off of the orignal power button. placed it in there how it normally would, ran all of the wires, and used some puddy (it could be glued) to stick it to the clear triangle thing. it's very simple. sorry for the crude pic, i think it gets my point across nicely.

Mr. Siggler and arrowhead - do you mind if I use the pictures (and any other pictures I find of yours) for creating a mod gallery?
