I used white gloss krylon fusion, and topped it off with some armor case clear laquer finish.
Couldn't match the color up very closely, and it would of helped if I had the grey screen cover, and some green buttons, but I'm still pretty happy with the results.
Looks really nice. As for the buttons, couldn't you paint those too? I've never taken apart a GG so I don't know but I'd imagine its possible. Then at that point the only difference would be the gray screen cover.
I'm not down with painting the buttons. Don't really have any way to keep them in place while I paint them, and I fear they might get sticky when i play even with the finish on them.
if you wanna keep the buttons in place to paint them just make a tape-tube and stick it to the bottom of them, the buttons shouldn't get sticky if you use a amall amount of paint and let them dry completly before messing with them....
