Ok now i'm getting pissed

Ok i get my images i want to use for my mod. I open my image and make it transparent and now i cant remember how i did that. :evil: But i still have the one image that i made load my bor pal then it makes my image look all fucked up and purple. What the hell am i doing wrong i started a mk mod but didnt finish it. So i did know how to do it at one point and time. Somebody help me for the love of god.
I'm using psp and photoshop

Um are you putting transparency into your character's gif files? The background color of your character gifs should be whatever the first color of your pal.act file is.
