A Near Finished Dc mod(small update)

Those are some pics of my contorler (the OC is for Online Consoles).

Theirs the bad boy. As you can see (or not) it is missing the front panel I kinda lost it so I am making a clear one.

A pic of just the top case

That's it open and exposed. as you can see the PSU has been extended so their is more room inside.

I tried to get a pic of it with my crappy camera

That's it in action well kinda. Their are still a few things to do. What needs to be done is
well for oen take better pics

The front panel.
A case for the external psu.
Finish the window(just have to glue it on)
Finish the window on the side (you couldnt see it) Again just glue it on.
Add the leds inside the case.
Add the switches on the side for OC job.
One more special mabye thing.
It is pretty much done.

Don't go bashing zerotype, sure he made a few spelling/grammatical errors but its not like you can't understand it.

Cool. One thing though--is that paint textured (i.e. make it stone or something of the sort) or is it just regular spray paint? I can't really tell from the pics.

Sounds like a fun project.....
I think a clear front plate, is that what you are doing, will give it an unusual look.

It is textured. I did it in a way on the controler that does'nt really affect the game play.

"revealed" the UCM logo.

I decided to go with a very reflective blue for the cover. I left the portion under the controler about 1-2cm not covering anything so when the leds are in you can see the light coming out the front.

I like the choice of blue for the window. Nice touch....I can't make out the colr you decided to paint the dc;

I'm going to piant my dc this summer, when I have some free time in between working. Won't be anything special.....

Anyway, I like zero.....

Thanks, the colour is really a stone texture spray. It'll look better once it is done and I take better pics. If you need any help fell free to ask any questions here.

Yeah, I use that shit all the time for school projects. It's expensive though and runs out fast.

What did you use to cut the window? An X-Acto or a Dremel?
