Thats awsome but.

"painting a DC is not hard. I am 13 and i did this mod all by myslef with the exception of my dad helping me with electrica parts. i put a green LED in but you cant see it. this is my first mod ever."

I mean, i'm 14 now, just turned it. But, Just cuz were kids, doesn't mean we can't do things. I'v been solding since i was 12, and im probaly better then 2/3's of the people on this forum. So, just cuz were young, doesn't mean the things we did arn't diffiuclt.

OMG! my retinas are burnt....No,j/k. The orange on gold color scheme works well with the dc, and is original. It just isn't my taste.

Nice work, though. Any other mods plannned, or is this it?

Good stuff, I was honestly expecting crap when I clicked on this thread. I like the paint; it's nice and glossy, but not cheap/tacky looking.

The paint must be a bit translucent if the "SEGA" and "Windows CE" labels at the front are showing through.

You didn't do anything to cover them prior to painting the case, did you?

thank you all. now to answer several questions. i dont not have any other mods planned, but the leds for the controller ports are looking pretty sweet, that might be a possibility. i didnt put anything over the sega sign, if the pain is translucent, i didnt buy it on purpose, in fact i didnt by the paint for this specifically for this mod. my dad bought it for my little brothers pinewood derby car. i didnt cover the sega sign because i figured they werent that important, but when it showed through i was suprised and i thought it looked very cool. thank you all for your compliments, they make it momr and more worth the time and effort i put inot it. BTW today is my 13th birthday! HOOOORAY!

Very nice looking paint job, even better it fits with the original orange LED.
Come down to null, warning it may seem a little childish to you.

It's another forum that often gets overlooked by newer members till someone points the way.
