JuiceBox - What can I do with one?

There was a red JuiceBox in the clearance isle at Wal-mart last night for $8. I know they were like $40 before so on an impulse I bought it.

If I get their MP3 adapter kit, is there a way to upload my own video files to the media card also?

If so would I have to convert the video to a specific format?

I may end up returning it, but I remember some people were trying to find uses for the VideoNow devices so I thought they might be working on this also.

VideoNow is at the point where it's possible to make your own discs.

JuiceBox? Unless they pulled something off in the last month, it's pretty worthless, but WOULD make a cheesy little MP3 player.

But seriously, sell it on ebay and throw in some "rare" and "collectors" words in there to peak people's interests.

It was the last one. It didn't even have a clearance sticker, so I assume someone else returned it. It was still sealed though. I checked the Wal-mart in the town next to me, and they don't have any JuiceBox items left at all.

I opened it. The screen's not bad. I think I'll get the MP3 pack. I'll use it for the cheesy MP3 player occasionally. I'm interested to see how jpgs will work on it. I could use it as a mini album when I get back for vacations/ceremonies with pictures.

I still wonder if the chip will play my own videos or if only official chips will play video.

Black and white. Sourceforge has TWO projects for it. Both work the same. You open Vdub, properly encode the viedo, and then run it through a converter program which turns it into a sound file, since VideoNow uses the left channel of sound to read packets, and the right channel for mono sound.

Boy, that made me sound smart.

I always thought it'd be cool to have one, and use it for pr0n on the go.
