Yah we will have them at the same time as the Pal gamers but this is fairly good for them considering they often have to wait a ridiculous amount of time for a game to be released in their region. Thats a lot of titles for launch. Didnt the DS launch with only 6 titles or so with a few more within two weeks in the US?

Thats actually a pretty crappy launch lineup; I can only assume because the DS pretty much came out of nowhere straight onto shop shelves, and a lot of developers didnt know about it in time to do anyting other than a quick project.

Its a shame, because I mostly just play GBA games on mine because the backlight is really good and it actually feels a little nicer to hold than the SP - but I would love to see some games that would really benefit from a stylus control system - a 'tycoon' game or an RTS would be brilliant for starters

I'm happy the DS is coming out at under AU$200. This makes it very affordable and pretty much a must have for me

Even though the only handhelds I've had are the GB (original) and Game Gear. I've always wanted a GBA. Now this way I get the DS and can still play GBA games.

It's still unheard of here, no advertising campaigns so far...

I'm just hoping the big N don't screw up and actually have decent ads.

Although its clearly not an 'official UK DS' as they state the multiplayer in metroid won't work with actual 'official' Metroid : hunters paks.

Which implies there is going to be some kind of reguional lockout, possibly related to the fact we have stricter laws on which radio frequencies home devices are allowed to use here in the UK than in other countries.

EDIT: that deals been sold out for a few days as well btw
