Funny LED glitch

Ok so i installed a Fan LED but it seems to Flash as the GDroms or CDR's are being read. Meaning when there is no CD in the tray the LED is off But when a CD is in the tray the light starts going on and off as the Laser runs up and down on the llittle rail reading the CD. as soon as the cd stops being read the LED turns off again.

Thats gotta be a cool effect. Move that to the side and make it a gd-rom activity light. Then just hook up to the psu for your fan light.
Also can you post pics of where you drew your power from? That's something I'd actually like to do on mine.

Funny thing is i just connected it to the power supply pins were its
5V 3V G G G
G= ground

IM not sure why esle its doing this but ill try to get some pics up soon.

That just means you have a loose wire, and when the disc isn't spinning, the wire isn't moving and touching the supply. Or the wire on the LED leg isn't soldered on, but inside a solder hole.

Nope i checked it and the wire is not lose in any way. But it does do that for some funny reason. Oh yea i got banned lol
