Project64 Problems

I'm trying to get Project64 working on my dad's laptop. His laptop is running Windows XP Home SP2, and when I try to load a rom in the prog, it gives me an error saying it must be closed, you know, the "send Microsoft an error report" error. I've tried switching plugins several times, I fiddled with the settings, and even tried a different version of it, PJ64k and it still did it. Other emus I tested didn't crash like this did, they just suck.

Any help appreciated.

i've had a similar problem.... I think you tried to copy the emulator files instead of installing them...

best way to fix this is to install it on your dads.. or delete the file that wont copy... i dont think its an important one...
