After several years, it finally died

My Logitech Cordless Wheel Mouse has burned out the LED that controls the scroll wheel. I can no longer scroll through pages smoothly and effortless.
Oh well, time to get another mouse. Probably going to get an optical cordless with the charging cradle thingy.

I love those optical mice. I got a IBM optical scroll mouse for liek $5 after rebates 2 years ago. I will never again use those annoying ball mice.

Hehe I said ball.

The reason for having: A firewall

Independance day, the aliens were destroyed because a computer was used to access their network and disable key systems. If they had had a firewall, the earth would be just another worthless rock floating in space.

Wow, you guys would be willing to pay that much for a mouse? I have no problem using my standard Microsoft mouse with the wheelie thingie. It was free, and I only have to clean it every once in awhile.

Same here, I really don't have a problem with mine. However, I haven't had one of those others so maybe that is why I like my mouse so much.

yea i have just a standard wheel/ball mouse before and i was fine, then i got this for three kings day and now i cant imagine using that. this is sooo much better. the keyboard has a scroll wheel on it! you can hit a button and it will bring up a little thing that says "www. " and you type in site and enter and it goes! its great.

i swear by my optical mouse, its a logitech m-bj58. i refuse to ever use another "ball mouse" as long as i live. its fairly cheap ($14 at newegg), but it works perfectly for me.

Why do people buy cordless mice? Do you use them from across the room?
