OZ comes to OZ -anyone watch it?

Post by GoldbergWWE »

I just realized that OZ is being aired here! I saw one episode a while back (not on TV though) and thought it was a really good "in jail" show. For any Aussies interested...it's on SBS Monday at 10pm SYD time.

Going to enter Em City soon....

Nice, that show was really interesting cause everyone was a bad guy in there. You were basically you got to see where all the bad guys end up, and how they live after being caught. (Most TV shows end with hero saving the day, and the bad guy going to jail.)

Yep, just finished watching it. It is a very good show. I like the dude in the wheel chair. He tells you everything about the prisoners and they actually show a remake as to why the blokes ended up in Emerald City. I wonder how long they will show it here though.. I looked i up and it ran from 1997 (where we are now) to 2003... I didnt read if it got cancelled though?

I keep planning to watch it but something always comes up that makes me miss it, I couldn't change the channel when the Baghdad Blogger appeared on Denton tonight.

I watched Prisoner on UKTV the other day though, I bet the guards on Oz aren't as hardcore as The Freak!

OT: Did you watch Pizza Live? It was fully craptacular you lair! The Pussy Master is still cool though.

I like the normal episodes of Pizza & the movie but the live show is stupid & pointless, although some of the women were hot (excluding Toula of course ;)) The censoring was really weird, one minute they're bleeping the f-word & the next minute the swearing is coming thru load & clear.

Yep, at the moment I have Optus but as of May 27th I'll have Foxtel Digital. Mmmm, 120 channels full of digitally enhanched crap....:droolio:

I'd love to watch Oz looks great, never shown in the UK though

I hear Method Man cameo'd for a few episodes.

Yeah it was, except Channel 4 stuck it in their 'we can't be arsed slot' at like 1am on wednesday nights (see also: Homicide: life on the street and recent NYPD Blues)

It ocasionally gets repeats on E4 reeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaally late on saturday nights too. I never saw Method on it, but I did see half the cast of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as prisoners
