like have wwf vs wwe , 80s vs 90s

wcw vs wwf

wwf vs the worls of wrestling.. or you play a certain wrestler and battle through different bosses like have a few wrestlers to pick for a single player mode that u only go through the major enemies of that wrestler.....lol

The thing is with a wrestling mod will be the limits of who actually will be in it. If you want some of the newer wrestlers, it may not be possible. I'm sure someone will look into it.

best bet here would be if you can catch screenshots for sprites from a dreamcast and use fire pro wrestling d with whatever caws you have in mind.

with those games you'd have to do some major sprite editing like they do with mugen characters. thats why i say go with fire pro d if at all possible because it has a caw that can make a (takin a guess here)98% likeness of anyone that isn't in it. it has some of todays superstars and it already has some legends like andre, the only downside(for a project like this) unless you'd actually consider bothering with them is thatover 3/4 the games roster are japanese superstars, but thats what the caw is for.

Well, for the WWF days, any of the wrestlers in the SNES games would work fine, i think they would follow the abilities of BOR pretty well. Of course, that one "WWF In your house" or whatever it was that was more of a fighting game than a wrestling game would work well also. you could probably use WWF Warzone as well, except i dont think the backgrounds would reflect right, espicially given the default palette. if you edit'd the palette though, it should work fine.

that was kinda like MK, which was coincidentally made by Midway as well...

anyways if possible i totally recommend ripping the sprites off of WTAG!

I am. I'm doing it using the classic characters in the 1986 NES game Pro Wrestling
I'm definitely including The Amazon and Starman, but I am undecided on who else. I also have to get music...basically I haven't even started yet but I plan to soon.
