Castlevania: Symphony Of Destruction Update thread

I just made a little demo build of the game so far.

UPDATE

- Now the Music player has all the Castlevania Resurection track in it
- Optimized some animations
- Transitions screens between places are now cleaner and animated
- Now every levels has it's own music tracks (only 4 levels)
- Better difficulty for the boss (same boss for all levels right now
- Fixed some things about the Fishman on lvl4

Note that the mod didn't really progressed a lot right now because i am working on a real intro movie right now, and it's pretty long to do all alone.

That is a problem with these mods hosting them is going to be a problem. I think you will have to cut it into 5 meg bits and upload it on some webspace i use to do that with prohosting since they dont have a file size limt and have ftp upload.

Most files stay up as well unlike the other freespace places. But unless you use L7 then every file goes to an add.

the site he had was basically a site about roms and stuff...I don't remember the exact details of it but that was a while back when he first posted news about the mod.

Anyone got a place with screens? Being an absolute 2D junkie and Castlevania fan to boot, Im glad I stumbled onto this.

Can someone take screenshots? And does this work with the Windows version of BOR? (i.e., take the screenies on windows)

Yes, it works for the Windows version of BoR. You could take screenshots with the windows beta.

Believe me, you won't need screenshots to know it's good. I guess what you could do is look for the thread that has his cover art on it and then you can look on the back cover.

The covers are included in the package, as for the files it's 10 X 5Mb.

screw screenshots.. its castlevania for christ sakes im sure it'll be good. Vamp im gonna download ur demo tonight along w/ kungpows Sega vs Nintendo demo when i get home from college and im gonna work on my review section of my site and ill give ya guys my review on there. i cant wait to play vamp and welcome back man

Don't review mine too harshly. There's still alooooot of room for improvement and I'm about on a 2% completion scale so yeah. Castlevania, Nintendo vs SEGA, TMNT and MegaMan....good collection of BoR POWER

Well i just beat Megaman last night at 5am so i know what im writting about that one. and dont worry kungpow ill take all that in consideration. my ratings are gonna be based out for a 1-5 scale just to give you an idea.

Yeah. I've got a reaaaaaaally slow connection to the site right now. It says it's going to take about 4 to 5 hours to finish downloading the files, and I'm using DSL.

yeah hopefully ill have the real verison of my site completed and running for you guys by the endof this weekend. and curt i know what ur sayin when megaman came out i stayed up all night gettin the files then when it came time to extract them 3 of the files came up missing so i had to redown them. but hey it was worth it i tell you that i finally beat the game last night.
