GP500 / Actua Soccer 4 Prototype / Warhead - UNRELEASED!!
I rarely visit here (toooooo many boards for my liking!), but when I got my DC Dev Box it has source for the unreleased game called GP500.
No one heard of it and it's also on no unreleased games lists because the game was never officially announced as in development! So obviously for the community this is an amazing find!
I have sent the files to Belokk - hopefully we can achieve something bootable between the 2 of us though there are no gaurantees we can get it to work so fingers crossed. Anyone who could provide a later SDK than R10 would be cool Atleast the knowledge of a new unreleased game is exciting in itself!!
What I do have available for now though are 4 MPEG videos which are in the dev files - I have sent them to a few people through IRC and theyre also on Yakumo's FTP, however if anyone else wants them or is prepared to host them that would be great !!!
If you wander around google regarding the PC version you will see that the PC version got 9/10 and 10/10 in reviews - and reader reviews also commended the game for being excellent - sounds like it would have been similar to xbox's acclaimed MotoGP 2
Heres a cover of the PC version

Are the files of the game the same as the PC version, like on Quake. Cos if it is you could realease the DC specific bits but would have to buy the PC version to play it. Then it would be legal and not warez. right?

Hey, it's LeGIt! What's up d00d!
LeGIt, you can talk about your find since it's your ownership, but don't post anything else regarding the rip status/distribution/etc or I'll have to put the lock on. At the moment I see no reason to close this as long as there's no "warez" discussion about obtaining the game, distributing it, etc.
This is indeed a very interesting discovery so if everyone cooperates, this stays open but NO WAREZ TALK.
hey LeGIt was the game playable on your kit?

Silent Hill What?BaldMonk wrote:I'd love to find a Devkt with Silent Hill 2 on it. Man the vid I've got looked sweet on DC... almost identical to the PS2.
::passes out::
I'd check the Dreamcast Directory, but I'm out of town and don't have my PC set up and the Geocities-hosted pages are down... That would be strange to see on DC, but, I suppose that I could imagine it... Probably moreso than Fatal Frame, at least.
It's neat to hear about these strange finds in "DC DevKits"! I definitely wouldn'tve minded a motorcycle racer on DC. I can't think of any that are actually released...

I knew that there had to be some! Thanks for coming through with some more excellent suggestions, which I will surely be checking out.Segata Sanshiro wrote:Redline Racer and Suzuki allstare are very 'arcade' and very good! I've never seen Ducati though, but people say it sucks big time!
