CD Audio + Graphics?

I was looking at my CD of New York by Lou Reed and it had the word graphics under the CDDA logo.

Didn't the Saturn play these? I might be diggin mine out.

I think the Sega CD can play them too.

Yeah the Saturn plays them. So does the 3DO and the PS1, but the PS1 needs some kind of adapter.

Yea, I renember reading bout that in the Sega Saturns manual. Bugged me cause I could never find any of them CD's tho that used it

Weren't those called CD-I's? Anyway, I remember getting one free when I bought my Sega CD. It was like called 'Rock Paintings' or something, and you could check out famous paintings while listening to classic rock tunes. I used it for like 3 minutes before it met it's fate collecting dust in the bottom of my drawer.

Yeah, that's it. CD-G's. Dunno where I got CD-I. Maybe I was just thinking of the system.

CD+Gs don't have a very strong graphic format though. The only popular use was for karaoke.
