Virtua Cop 3 on Xbox or Ps2

Can someone let me know if VC3 is coming to xbox or ps2 as I say Virtua Cop Elite on the Ps2 the other day and it looks like Outrun and Shenmue 3 are set for Xbox so will this one be a Xbox Title?

Outrun and VC3 were canned for Xbox. Dunno about PS2.

I'm sure Sega will probably release both of them for Playstation 2. Both of those games are money in the bank, so if they don't get released for Xbox, PS2 is the likely choice, especially since the PS2 has a well established light gun, unlike the Xbox (although I don't see why Sega says it would cost too much to make one, when they already have one for it).

hey hey hey it hasn't been canned and it is on the XBOX LIVE list... check your OXM and it says they are likely to be on xbox live if it isn't playable on live there will be downloadable contant or fastest laps like ColinMc4 / BurnOut..... as Virtua Cop 3 starts this is most likely coming out on xbox as Xbox is the only console which can run powerful games like that,,, as HL2 will not come out on any other format other then PC as the others cannot run it...

VC3 uses the same board as THOTD3 and what console is that on? saying that so does VS3 which is on gamecube ... hmmm

Your completely confused.

You say its definate then you go on to list tons of speculation.

And Virtua Striker 3 isn't on the Chihiro board.

OXM is just rumour mongering as usual.

Sega themselves said via Dengeki that neither of the games would make an appearance on Xbox as the system is not capable of sustaining sales, Especially in Japan.

well i'll keep my hopes up for the two of them coming out on xbox, but if xbox doesn't get them i hope gc does, but then even if gc or xbox doesn't get them i hope that they atleast come out on ps2, even if they wont look no where near as good as they could have on the xbox or gc.

I was just talking to the host of GAMERWEB with is on friendly TV on sky and OUTRUN is coming out on XBOX and it is most likely comming out Next Friday. well thats what they said.

On PS2 you only see Dreamcast games and VF .. because PS2 will not be able to handle any of SEGA's new arcade games.

So PS2 owners if you want SEGA games get a XBOX or gamecube

all what the guys here are trying to say is who are you going to believe, sega themselfs or some magazine?. for all you know them issues could of went to print before they found out about sega saying they wasn't coming.

virtua cop 3 not coming to xbox so far, because sega don't feel that it would be to cost effective for them to have to make a gun for the game..

yes house of the dead has a gun, buts its not for the virtua cop game

I know for a fact Edge never said outrun/VC3 were confirmed for Xbox, i remembering them saying they expected Outrun to get an Xbox port due to the arcade hardware it uses, but nothing more

GamesTM probably said something

Also the news in magazines will be slightly out of date as it takes time to write an article and print the issues etc. The mentions of outrun on the xbox in Edge were before Sega canned annonced they weren't being ported

, yeah i big name game like that, is just gonna come out next friday without anyone knowing, and even after sega said it was canned (i have not needed to do this in a long time but here for you dcUK)
