are the chu chu rocket servers still online??

it's been a while since i logged on there until recently. i tried to play a network game, but it froze when i connected.

any idea?

Sadly, Chu Chu Rocket was one of the first games to be taken offline.

what are you talking about. chu chu rocket is still online, i played on it about a month ago. its offline in the UK, but in the states it still works.

are you sure about that? does the version of the game matter, PAL/NTSC? i have the PAL version.

Europe = PAL = dead
USA / Japan = NTSC = up&running

I think the PAL version is hard coded to dial directly to Dream Arena or something like that, and Dream Arena is gone now.

But yeah, the NTSC versions are still online, though I can't for the life of me explain why. When all the other games are gone now except the ones that use PC servers.

Anyone interested in scheduling a match some night? Chu Chu is one of my favorite games online, but I can never find anyone to play and the servers are always empty when I go.

Yeah, I check there every so often, but as far as I can tell it's rather the case that people never schedule games there.

The site seems to be down now anyway.
