Where Do I put my WAds for NXdoom?

Talk about Quake, Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, or other DC first person shooting game ports and mods for those games in here.

Unless it's been modified, the WADs go in Inducer/Doom

yes here is what they must be called

DOOM2F.WAD Doom 2 - French Version
DOOM2.WAD Doom 2 - Hell on Earth
TNT.WAD Doom 2 - TNT Evilution (Final Doom)
PLUTONIA.WAD Doom 2 - Plutonia Experiment (Final Doom)
DOOMU.WAD Ultimate Doom
DOOM.WAD Registered Doom
DOOM1.WAD Shareware Doom (this will not work with MODs)

Technically, you don't need to use the correct WAD file names - nxDoom can automaticall determine what the WAD actually is, and will adjust it's setting automatically. It will only make a difference to the on-screen menu when nxDoom boots up. That menu looks for:

DOOM2F.WAD
DOOM2.WAD
TNT.WAD
PLUTONIA.WAD
DOOM.WAD
DOOMU.WAD
DOOM1.WAD

Unlike most other ports of Doom, you don't have to rename an Ultimate Doom WAD to DOOMU.WAD - it'll work just fine as DOOM.WAD. Or TNT.WAD, for that matter.

The whole point of nxDoom initially was to run modified WAD files, which the original DoomDC could to to a limited extent, but it was a real pain in the backside. So yeah, some of them will work with nxDoom, but only if they work with a normal, unmodified Doom engine (so no Doom Legacy WAD files).
