Codename at Games Convention 2003?

Talk about Quake, Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, or other DC first person shooting game ports and mods for those games in here.

Codename at Games Convention 2003?

Post by Moi »

http://www.consolevision.com/forums/YaB ... 1057160831

The guys from http://www.dreamcast-petition.com are at the European Games Convention and they are looking for stuff by the DC scene...

What about Codename? It could be "on quake1 engine based" game by the Dreamcast Homebrew Quake Development scene?

Should I contact the guy behind the dc petition and ask him?

Sounds cool, ask away. =P

Freeze, the man I've contacted and the person behind dc petition thinks it was a "nice idea" he also wanted to know who he had to contact.
I sent him your email adresses.

So TDA? Renegade? It's your chance :)

Are only stand-alone games allowed? If not, JoyMenu, Prydon Gate, and Ajay's mods (Raptors, Raptors Return, Bulldog) could be there as well.

When is the deadline?

He can contact me. If Renegade (aka Tyne) would rather be contacted thats ok with me. But I'll relay anything I'm told to Ren if he wants anyway.

Send him a PM over at the CV boards - he frequents there. He'll be sure to get it then.

I'm trying to get something done to be shown there myself - Dreamcast codewise. Sounds like a great opportunity for the Dreamcast community.

Sorry I haven't replied here.

So well, as you heard we have a booth (to the German speakers: it's called "booth" and not "stand" ;)) at the Games Convention, booth A21, hall 3.

Sorry to say this, but I'm very busy at the time, so I can't take care about compiling or do something else with this project, either it would be really cool if you can send me a playable Dreamcast version of your mod at least on 16th August 2003. :)

I need some background information: Who are you, when did you start this project, is it Dreamcast only, etc.?

Hey law, can I also give the guys at GIGA an advice they should visit the Dreamcast-Petition.com booth as well please? ;)

Ahh... a little missunderstanding: First it seemed to me like you were talking about
TheDumbAss and Tyne and not GIGA :)
