Who hear has Broadband, Xbox, and Halo?

If anyone does, would you like to play Slayer on Halo with Xbconnect? I'm up for a match at Prisonner, 50frags, rockets only. If you want to play, let me know. I can host.

Im just reading about and planning on setting it up now...

I always thought I needed a chipped 'Box for this..

Nope. XBConnect works on any Xbox. It's an app for pc, which makes your Xbox think its running on system link locally, but actually its all over the world. http://www.xbconnect.com

Damn, I haven't got any crossover cable, or any spare cable I could make into crossover. Gonna have to wait until I do, or I get enough wire to run up the stairs from my router.

I am sure you've probably though of this already, but if you have a television upstairs, just bring up your Xbox.

Lmao. Yeah the 'box is already upstairs. I jut don't have enough cable to add it to the network. I can't find any spare cable. Tomorrow I'll take it downstairs and use one of the cable's, and set it up there. So game tomorrow w/ me. Anyone else want in for a game tomorrow ? Any particular time ?

Yeah, TreyDay did beat me pretty bad. My mother kept calling while I was playing, and she wouldn't shut up. It was a major distraction. By the time I was off the phone he was murdering me.. So we started over. Shit is on my mind right now too, so I can't concentrate. A friend from school got in a bad car accident, so I am a bit upset.

When I asked in the XConnect room, the answer was that PAL and NTSC copies of the game were unable to play each other. Someone may have been having me on, but

I remember when I first started playing on-line, they said the two versions couldn't play together. But yesterday, I was checking through the site so I could have a link for to back-up my claim, but I couldn't find it on their site. Either they fixed it or nobody cares.

no doubt the pc version won't work with the xbox version because of some stupid technicality.
