VERY, very quick question.

Anything DreamSNES-related can be asked in this forum, such as general questions about the emulator, how to burn it, etc.

When playing SNES games can you exit back out without reseting? I trying several button combinations and couldn't find anything.

There is no save/load. Savestates would take up far more room than a VMU can hold.

Yes you can save. To save in BOF you just talk to those dragon statues.
It takes up mad space on your vmu make sure you have enough space for it.
You can't save/load states like you can in pc emulators. Thats different than using the games function to save.

if you have autosave turned off, exit to the menu (by holding the stick to the left) after saving in the snes game. Turn autosave off when loading a game, because it will save over any previous saves when you load the game, forcing you to start over .....
(I left my DC on for 2 weeks waiting for the $$ for a vmu so I could save my Mario World file. I did finally save and in the game I was at Bowser's castle..I lost my save....I haven't played mario world since......... )

i couldn't find any save bugs in dsnes 098, and i play almost edclusively rpgs (ie. secret of mana, tales of phantasya, chrono trigger, zelda 3) and super metroid, dk series.
it's dumb to ask if dsnes can save games though

Why? It's a valid question. I think he meant a save state, which DreamSnes can't. But it can save if the original game had save support.
